Has anyone tried Patriot juice from goodejuice?
I'm thinking that's what I want to duplicate

Good luck trying to replicate that particular recipe. It's a naturally extracted tobacco made from several different leaves; Perigue, Latakia and many others. If you want real tobacco taste try 7Leaves and/or Maxx Blend, both from FA.

Heat 60 mls of PG to about 130 F. Dump the tobacco from a pack of American Sprit into a container. Pour the heated PG over the tobacco and stir it. Cover the container and put it in a cool dark storage space for 4-6 weeks. Get a 20 or 30 ml syringe without needle and make the needle connection hole just a bit bigger. Get some sterile cotton and push a piece down to the bottom of the syringe hole. Pour in some extract and plunge it through the cotton filter. Do this with the extract, squeezing out the tobacco to get as much of the extract out as you can. You should have at least 30 mls of the now concentrated flavoring. Mix at 20-25% and you'll have your American Spirit. It is really good stuff.

I haven't smoked in a few years, but you might give this a shot. It's a single flavor recipe, but it is a good solid tobacco that might be on the American Spirit order.

TE Dhill 5%
PG 55%
VG 40%

FA Bitter Wizard can be used to cut the sweetness, if you need it cut, I don't remember this being too sweet though. I think I normally use this stuff at around a drop a mil.

FA Black Fire Tobacco can add a good smokey/ashy taste to it, if you were looking for that. I never used more than 1 drop to 5ml, but everyone has different tastes.

Neat idea, I used to make herbal extractions in Vodka.

I guess you could do this with any brand cigs?

I bought a pouch of Organic American Spirit and put about a third of it in a pint mason jar, covered with PG, sealed it up for 3 weeks. I turned it over a couple of times every few days but never shake or stir. Filtered through a coffee filter and then push it through a cotton ball in the bottom of a 60ml syringe. Made a few ounces of extract. Mixed it at 25% and it was way too strong after a few days. 10-15% is good.

I found the base flavor I was looking for! TFA cowboy blend.
The recipe I'm liking right now is 6% cowboy blend, 3% TFA 555 and 1 drop of TFA Kona coffee.
I'm gonna try adding a touch of Seedman's Commercial Tobacco Flavor Concentrate. It's not exactly what I was looking for as far as tasting like an American Spirit, but it's good!
