I liked the original Ammit, eliquid capacity was simply too small. I ended up PIFing it.

Likewise the OBS Nano has been good for me, though it still doesn't match the Avocado24.

Av24 has one weak point for me, the darm press fit afc. Both my silver and new black Av24 Have condensation seap at the fitting. That said, Av24 is what I'm using until the Ammit 25 shows.

I'm hoping Ammit 25 can become my new go-to tank, though being used to the Av24 flavor sets the bar pretty high.

(I'd hoped Perseus would take over for the Av24. Between leaking and pita top cap lock I loathe that beast.)

I just never got into dual coils (too lazy). I tried a few times, kept going back to single coil txp 26awg kanthal, 0.5 ohm.

I'm having a ball with the pd270 I won. Using a pair of 20700b batteries, been vaping 25w since 7am. I've gone through 12-13ml so far, battery indicator shows good charge and it's still vaping well. (I started with a full tank and a full 15ml unicorn bottle. It'll be stellar if I make it to a second bottle, which is likely.)

I wish you wouldn't have said that. I've really been wanting to try the pd270.

Apparently the 510 pin Has a limited travel range, tanks with a short 510 may have problems. Av24 is fine, I haven't tried anything else yet. (My battery level has finally dropped one more notch, now showing 60%, after 15 ml. I'm going to keep using this pair until I get a low battery message.)

Likewise the tc is wonky, though Daniel said he used a custom tcr and seemed to get decent results with ss316.

I like the firing button, and find it a very comfortable mod to hold (nicely rounded edges).

Caveat emptor, but this may well be a keeper for me, a high power capable regulated mod with excellent run time

In watts mode it is apparently decent at low and mid range power levels. For my application, trivial 25w, it is fine.

Back to the Ammit 25... I actually picked up the 25 to go with this. A 25mm tank is no problem on it, you could go over 30mm without overhang

I following for research and development..... Another single coil has piqued my interest as well. The Wotofo SMM.

I have recently seen a video on the SMM, It's priced in the same neighbourhood as the Ammit 25.
I have never had an atty with the no JFC style top fill, To be honest I don't know what to think of these kind of atty's :( IMO if it was wicked loosely for big coil rapid wicking, it would probably leak when the top cap comes off to fill, also I'm not a fan of the wick going through a hole to the bottom deck like the OBS Engine.
I'm just speculating, but I feel the wicking would have to be perfect, or it will leak or dry hit :(
I'm going to pass on the SMM atty!

On the outside the SMM looks a lot like my Coilart Mage Gta. It's ok.

There seems to be many atty's with this type of top fill lately. I have never tried one yet, I know the JFC type atty's work well for me :) It's one of the features I look for & the SMM atty don't have it :(
I have only seen one review for the SMM that wasn't Matt & it wasn't glowing :(
I will admit I like the deck, air flow design & the capacity :) Its just the wicking I think could be the issue with this one, after all it's designed for a big clapton! They are known for using a lot of juice. The wicking has to run a fine line between holding the juice in with no JFC & wicking fast enough for the big Clapton.
