Getting my first dripper so I got a stupid question but need to know. I make my own coils for my Evods and I know the amount or length of the wire and gauge determines the ohms. My question is on a dripper does it matter how much wire is put into the screws? Say I wrap around the screw like I would a wall light switch connection, will that extra wire make a difference in the ohms. Or does the ohms only read on the wire that comes off the screw and runs to the other screw. Hope someone understands what I'm talking about, if not I;ll try to make a drawing.

What I mean is if the tag end of the coil I wrap completely around the screw then tighten, compared to the tag end barely under the screw. Will the extra wire around the screw change the ohms.

tks for the reply, appreciated. Thats what I thought but wanted to make sure. I make coils for my Evod tank that aren't supposed to be rebuildible. So I imagine on those when the Neg/Pos wire first make contact with the center Post plug and the tank houseing, only that part of the coil determines the ohms. The rest of the wire that runs to the edge of the groment doesn't matter just like the wire under the screw.
