You're liable to fall into one of two camps - either you will find vaping to be up to 1/5th the cost of smoking or it will become a hobby for you and, as such, will represent an ongoing investment that's probably going to cost more than smoking.

To get started, you should be able to get a good starter kit for <$100 (the Kanger EVOD kit is one I recommend). After that, it's all about juice and coil units (or cartos). That is, unless (like most of us) you begin to yearn for more toys, and then............

That's why it's good to be here, there's a "guardian" so you won't overspend. Be content on what we have, and learn more DIYs... By the way spend S$100 on my eGo-Ts + Hangsens when I started. Loving it since day 1.

was a carrot to pay $90 for a joyetech eGo + ce4 alongside a 0% nic juice. Right now using a eGo c twist with an iclear 30s and spent a total of around $40 to get this setup up and running, offers a pretty satisfying vape for now while waiting for my iTaste VV V3 to come (hopefully it does come T_T) bringing the current total to around $160-180. Quite reasonable compared to how much i used to smoke previously.

But same goes, still on a constant look out for good juices to try out. Kinda stuck with liqua and dekang for now, getting bored :(

Think I spent about near to $600-700 on mods, juices since I started vaping 3 months ago...the wild chase for the perfect APV/Mod and juices is really making me a poor man. On the bright side, even though I'm still using analogs, I managed to cut down from 20 to 6-8 per day, that means less analogs to buy more to spend on vapes.

Don't worry, the cost is well spent, cut the analog one day, you will feel a great difference

One day, I was left with 4 sticks of analogs and aft my last stick I decided that it will be is my last stick. After 2 weeks, I drop my ego and damaged it and took one stick fm a friend and the taste is bad. The analog stay in my breathe the whole day no matter how I chain vape, from taking fisherman friends to drinking coke. I had a good brushing of my teeth and wash my mouth with Listerine, it stay in my breath. All I can say is going back to analog is definitely a No to me

I keep a rigorous log of money spent on Vaping and money not spent on Smoking...

I started with £59.60 on 2 Ego 900mAh batteries, two CE5's, two chargers, two wall warts and one car wart. With 10 ml each of 100%PG, 50/50 PG/VG, 100%VG and 100%VG Strong Mango all at 12mg/ml nicotine.
A week later I spent £11.94 on an iClear 30B (and now I don't use my CE5s...)
A few days Later I spent £47.48 on 500ml of fluid and 5ml of mango flavouring.
A week later I spent £85.50 on a VTR, 4 Batteries with carry cases and a Charger
The next day I spent £21.22 on heads for the iClear 30B and the iClear 30S that will be coming in the mail.

All told I've spent £225.74, and not spent about £200 on cigarettes but I still have 480 or so mls of e-juice, 4 spare heads for the 30B and 5 spare heads for the 30S (which hasn't arrived yet...) I make myself about £25 up on if I'd been buying cigarettes.

You are well stocked on the juices, Spacklick.

Yeah, it's unflavoured though. So at some point I'm gonna need some more flavourings because I only have about 6ml of Mango left and enough concentrate for another 20ml.

And if this EU boswellox keeps a-coming I'll be getting 2.5L of 72mg juice to keep me going.

Halo juice is really nice?

I've tried only midnight apple and kringles curse. They are all on low levels right now and I'm vaping off from DK and liqua. All I can say is that there's a stark difference in overall vape.

Bad thing is I started with the US liquids and my expectation kind of make me a little disappointed with the CN liquids but not too bad I'd say.

The Halo juices that I have are very flavourful. You might want to let it steep for a week or two cos out of the bottle is pretty strong. Throat hit is awesome and vapour production is fantastic when comparing to DK and liqua's. So yup, in my experience, they are goooood :D

Gonna be tough getting stuff in these days...big bro is really keeping a very very close eye on incoming packages. Don't even think of getting in the Halo yourself, it's just an invitation for them to send you love letters and possibly pay you a visit.

Hmmm.. you're giving a highly suggestive statement there.

Haha. They will visit you, find your dark crevices and dig stuff out to see if it's legal or not. :p

A birdie told me that it happened to someone a few months ago after a couple of love letters were sent to the person.
