Hi Turkish, Welcome to the ECF. Most of us began very similar to you. I personally began vaping with a single automatic battery kit with sleeve cartridges. I remember refilling one with my first liquid purchase, which by the way was almost three months+ after I started vaping..... seven drops from empty to full...... I had just the week before found about the ECF and was swimming in information.... My next kit was a 510 with two manual batteries and big cartriges compared to my little ones on my first PV. I was happy with this kit for about a month. Thats when I finallly knew vaping was for me so I Invested in a big battery kit eGo clone. The eGo was my go-to device for almost a year. Now over a year later the eGo kit still travels everywhere with me but, I have treated myself to a variable voltage mod and since mid January the eGo hasn't seen much robust use. But in the end I still have all my original equipment and it all still works. The prefect one is the one that keeps you away from cigaretts, everything past that is all just bonus material. Good Luck. Happy Vaping.

I've come to the fact that there is no such thing as a perfect mod. I have 7 mods(Provari V2, The Helix, Reo Grands, GLV2 mini, Omega, Saber Touch) and they are all perfect IMO. But the ones I use mostly just because of the fact that I'm out a lot is my Reo Grands. Its convenient and my AW imr 2000mah battery last me about 3 days before I have to charge it. I just slap a LR Cisco 306 and vape away. Good luck with finding that perfect mod for you! Try a Reo and if you don't like it, I'll buy it.

I started with the 'looks like' with 2 batteries and sometimes 1 battery was still charging when the other died. I would have to stare at the charger until it gave me the 'green light' to vape. Pre-filled cartos were costing me $5 each and could only be bought in packs of 5 (I'm Canadian, so they were no-nic!). It wasn't much cheaper than smoking but it did get me down to 2 -4 smokes a day.

I was searching sites for different systems when I read something about eGo in a review. A 'Google' of that lead me to ECF. ECF lead me to the 1100mah pass-through battery (eGo clone, 3.7 volt).

When I first got it and some nic-juice I loaded up a Star Dust and thought, "Gee, I hope that doesn't take long to charge...wait a minute.....I don't have to wait for it to charge! I can vape while it's charging!" No more waiting for the 'green light'. This suits my needs, I can afford it (and spares, it is a clone after all), if I lose it, I can afford to replace it. I haven't smoked since I got it. I reminded myself to vape, first thing, the first few mornings and I would allow myself to smoke after that if I craved (or caved). I never looked back.

After a couple months, the money I have saved has allowed me to book a "last minute deal" on a Caribbean vacation (7 nights, all inclusive) and the best part is: the money to pay for it came out of the tobacco company's pocket! Now that's a switch from me paying for their vacations all those years.

And I love my pass-through so much....I'm taking it on vacation too!

So, my answer is 2.

I bought 3. An ego, a buzz pro, and a lavatube. So far the buzz has been fulfilling all my needs (as far as vaping goes, anyway), but I've also been experimenting with building my own. It's surprisingly not as complex as you'd think.

It's electricity and a switch (a few bells and whistles are optional) but they prefer to call them systems and sell them in kits.

1.2 to get the perfect one. I love my eGo, but the tank and atty were quickly replaced with eGo vision clearos

I started 'real deal' with the Star Dust (eGo Vision clearo) and skipped several generations of hardship. I sampled several cartos, and clearomizers, (nothing is perfect yet) and settle right back where I started.

+1 for your choice. Enjoy!

So far Im still on my first one.( Started vaping a week ago so Im a noobie just like you :p) Like some of the other guys here I did some research after seeing an ad on E-cigs. Luckily I stumbled onto this forum while on my quest for knowledge and ended up buying a KGO kit. Im pretty happy with the battery but since then I changed from the usual starter set ( atomizer and cartidges ) to a tank, which I just got today :):) So far Im loving the tank.
Trying to find the right setup is getting pretty costly for me right now, ( so far I spent over $300 on cartos, tanks, juices, etc) so I plan to try to find my "perfect" PV later on in the future but I am starting to lean towards MODs. From my point of view, its going to be a never-ending quest as new products come out every year.

I was fortunate enough to have someone mentor me so making the decision to get an eGo kit was perfect for me. I found ECF and other forums and pretty quickly found out about "vapers meets" that weren't too far from me. This was at a time when vendors routinely showed up at meets here. I quickly bought three mods at that meet in CT. from COV and I kept reading at the different forums and from my purchases with COV found out I liked a bigger battery and lot's of different juices! I now have about 32 different mods and will continue to collect even more but you what?
It makes me happy!
Good luck to all of you newer vapers!
