An Atomizer to fit the Vela Latina

I'm purchasing an atomizer for my Vela Latina-Caravela . I see people mention the Low Resistance Cisco Spec 306 Bridgeless Atomizer(open center post) from Avid Vapor.

What does the 306 stand for? I believe the Vela is a 510 connection dripping tank?!?

Pedro, the maker of the Vela Latina, suggests a sealed atomizer. Does the comment "Open Center Post " mean that it's not sealed?

I'm open to suggestions here and point me in the direction of the best in your opinion,Thanks,​

306 and 510 threaded accessories such as atomizers are interchangeable. 306's require a special drip tip made especially for them. Since the body of the atomizer is exposed. If your APV has an open center post. Then you will have to buy an atomizer that has a sealed center post.
