An E-Cigarette Pen

If this makes somebody a lot of money, great for them. If they want to include me on it, great for me. If this has been mentioned already and just didn't work, bad for me.

The cigarette model of most e-cigarettes could be modified such that instead of having a light-up or plain end to the model, it has an extension with ink and the tip of a pen used for writing. Imagine, if you will, how great it would be to be able to write a few sentences, and with that same pen device, reach up and take a few vape hits. I am not an engineer. And the first objection in my mind was, "How could we ever devise such an e-cigarette that was a pen as well?" My suggestion is this: Make it an extension. Think of iPhone covers. They don't pretend that they are produced by Apple, but they fit perfectly on iPhones. Why is this? They were engineered to do so. Such can be the exact same for the popular models of e-cigarettes.

This doesn't have to stop at just pens. It can apply to numerous other extensions as well that are commonly used: highlighters, used for studying in times of stress often times, pencils, with an eraser replacing a typical drop cap, permanent markers, etc. Simply attach this to your popular model that it is fit for, vape, and flip the PV to continue your work. EDIT: Correction, you wouldn't even need to flip your PV for this to work as I imagine it, unless you were erasing something with a pencil extension.

Perhaps we can increase the popularity of e-cigarettes not just by touting its incredible safety as opposed to cigarettes, and its green nature of not polluting the world with butts, but with practical advantages of being able to smoke and be productive at the same time. I apologize if this idea is already common in this community, but I feel that since I have not seen it, it has not received the attention it deserves.

Edit 2: Why shouldn't it be something easily available? Why not produce e-cigs this way? Why limit the possibility of reducing the world's smokers and maintaining or enhancing their productivity? Is my idea completely redundant?

Whats wrong with a regular pen and a separate PV? It could be done but it seems a little pointless, just like them pen lids that were on the Ego W, I threw them out, you would also need a sliding pen which would eat into the battery shortening battery life as a cap isn't practical and it would nab you in the pocket if you lost it. You could get round the last bit somehow. A pen attachment would result in a low pen life due to the ink space.

An iphone cover is there to protect the iphone, a pen on a PV would result in inky fingers and questionable ink stains on your crotch.

Writing is tiresome, all about the Keyboard and touch screen nowadays.

Perhaps so, but I think pens and pencils are still a gigantic part of everyday life for most people. I don't mean to say that a pen on a PV is superior to a regular pen, but how often do you lose your pen as opposed to your PV? You could replace the pen on your PV quite quickly, almost akin to replacing a cartomizer, except without the worry of refilling the ink with such a cartridge. There is lower ink space, for sure, but plenty of people still write instead of type, and I think it is a very fitting modification to the boring regular e-cigarette.

EDIT: The argument of analog versus digital is what encompasses this very forum regarding manual cigarettes to the safer digital ones. Why not incorporate a full digital spectrum of use, instead of simply having e-cigarettes replacing cigarettes?
