Hello everyone,

Has anyone purchased the pen looking type of E-cigarette from different companies and websites? If so, are the batteries, atomizers, and refill cartridges the same? The crown7 and Sedansa seem a bit different than Njoy's (least the refill cartridges), from pictures on the website but I have no way to tell for sure. If anyone is able to post some upclose pictures of the cartridges that would be awesome, so we can all examin them. Starting to believe that most of these companies are typically reselling the exact same product. BTW, the myreville.com e-cig has the exact same packaging as Njoy's except the name of course :D They buy in bulk at wholesale prices, ofcourse. Then just use their own packaging or simply have their name/logo placed on the package. Absolutely nothing wrong with that since thats what retail is all about. By doing this we all then can save money by knowing where to buy at the best prices for most likely the exact same product and save on shipping.

Or, I just may be going crazy by puffing away constantly  So far, with my new E-ddiction, I've purchased 2 e-cigarette starter kits from Njoy (one for my wife) and a few Mini Health E-cigarettes from someone I found on ebay. Njoy was my first device and I'm impressed. 40 ciggs a day down to 10 and planning to go electronic completely. The mini Health E-cigs are alright, the quality is just not there. I purchased 5 sets/boxes of the mini health e-cigs (2 atomizers, 2 batteries, 1 charger, 12 cartridges in each package). Out of the 5 , 2 were completely fine (IMO) on how they work as far as sucking and getting vapor. Out of the other 3 boxes, 2 atomizers and 1 battery did not work at all. As far as the rest You have to puff with force out of one just to get the battery led to glow and then your out of breath lol. The others didn't seem to have much airflow so you have to suck really hard to get something out of it. So I swapped batteries and atomizers around till I got 2 more working decently. So out of 5 sets, 6 cigs work great, 2 mediocre and 2 dead. A couple of the mini E-cigs have way more vapor than Njoy's e-cig. Both types have different tobacco like flavor, I don't mine either one. When I get a chance, I'll record some video of the vapor and post it here. My second Njoy e-cigarette purchase had a bad atomizer and later that night, my first e-cigarette 1 of the batteries quit working. Contacted Njoy and they replaced both with no problems what so ever and are very friendly. I also ordered another mini E-cig from ebay saying its only 97mm long for $46.00 free shipping + 12 cartridges. I'll give a review and post pictures once I recieve it.
Any pictures and comments would be great. Thanks for Reading.

Hey Meltrex,

I own an e-cig, Njoy and Sedansa and can confirm that they are definitely different products with different characteristics. As far as the pic you have shown, may I refer you to this thread ... Chinese counterfeits. I'm not saying that this is definitely the case, but I would recommend some caution.

Isn't it strange that we don't KNOW how many Chinese factories make these? Three, 8, 80? I'm sure there are factories producing e-devices and wholesaling them to be branded as anything a seller wants them to be. That's why buying is so difficult. I really meant it when I said I want Consumer Reports to test and analyze the models. Only then can I be more confident I'm not getting a Smart car when I wanted a Mercedes-Benz roadster.

But, frankly, I have a stronger desire that some regulatory body analyze the e-liquid contents and the vapor contents. What exactly are we sucking into our lungs and what long-term consequences might we expect? Safer than cigs? Pretty sure that's true. Safe? Not so certain. Food grade ingredients? We don't smoke and inhale food -- and barbecue smoke is notoriously carcinogenic.

I just got my first two e-cigs this week. The Njoy arrived four days ago and my Crown7 arrived yesterday. They are slightly different.

The gold band in the middle is slightly wider on the Njoy.

Overall, the length of each is the same. But the Njoy has a slightly longer atomizer and slightly shorter battery than the Crown7. We're talking about a couple millimeters here.

The sound that each makes when drawing on it is different. The Njoy just sounds like air passing through a little hole. The Crown7 has kind of a bubbly or fizzy sound. I like it.

The Njoy seems to have a brighter LED on the end. The Crown7's is redder and doesn't seem to illuminate the entire end of the thing.

So far I love them both.

The cartridges for Njoy and Crown7 are the same size. The Njoy cartridges have sort of an indented rim at the part where they meet the edge of the atomizer, otherwise they look identical. They seem to fit each other's atomizer just fine. I was going to post some pics but can't find the charger for my camera, so i'll try to do it when possible.

Oh yeah, the volume of vapor seems to be about the same to me. Neither one is totally consistent, but they behave about the same. I want to say the Njoy is better, but that may be subjective because I got it first and am more attached to it.

Truth is, if they were both black I would probably have a hard time telling which one is which.

Any luck with the pictures between the two types of cartridges? By any chance have you tried swapping the types of cartridges between the two brands and see how they perform?

Thanks mikecurse.
