I like to drip my juice into the battery end of my cartomizers. If I head out somewhere, I unscrew, add a few drops, and then head out the door.

Yesterday, as I realized I was running late for a meeting, I quickly unscrewed and and started dripping. Only I dripped directly into the threads on the ACTUAL BATTERY. It took me several seconds of "huh! why isn't the juice going into the hole?" I started tapping it gently to get it to go down the hole before I realized with a loud ...Edit...

Battery seems to be working fine! but I thought it was damn funny.

O.k. Funny I guess.. but I don't get it.. why drip juice onto the battery end of your cartomizer at all?

Lots of folks do this, and I'm sure it doesn't apply to all carto brands. But for all the carto's I use-- the "wick" is right next to the battery end of the carto. If the wick doesn't get nice and saturated, then you'll wind up burning the filler or just not getting any vapor. Filling a carto and leaving it sit upside down for a long time is a common recommendation... but I'm not patient enough for that.. and even that doesn't seem to do the trick if the liquid just spreads out to the filler before it makes it down to the bottom.

Dripping this way was actually a turning point for me. I pulled several cartos out of my trash that I wound up getting a lot more use out of.
