I used to only drip but now I use cartos or tanks 95% of the time. I am dripping right now since I got a sample bottle of Dulce de Leche from BMV and it's not really enough for a carto. I've also got some high VG liquids that don't work well with cartos/tanks so I drip them. I just finished cleaning my tanks yesterday so I'll probably get them loaded up tomorrow. When it comes to the cartos for tanks, putting the holes in them only takes a couple of minutes (I slot them with a Dremel). I like going a couple of days without having to refill at all.

If dripping works for you, stick with it. What works for one person doesn't always work for another.

i'm home most of the time, and i like my bottom feeding on Reo for ease ( i vape only a couple different juices ), i love my VVPV too, and I use a Provari, and a couple different ego batts too.
More than half the time i drip...There are so many different attys out there now... between HH357, i06, LR's, SR, - 901, 510, 306, Cisco, bridgeless, DSE, SLB, I've got at least 6 attys rotating between 5 devices, and when my XL Vmod gets back,,, good problems to have for sure.
Last year I got into about 50 to 100 different juices, and settled on 1 main: Snickerdoodle for the last 8 months; but i buy 3 different brands of Snickerdoodle. I keep Caramel Cream, and Butterscotch around for a , change but that's it. I don't need to sample any more.

When the Provari came out, I gave up my bottom feeders, mostly because I couldn't control the amount of juice nor did i know exactly how to tailor my resistances to volt/watts, and dripping was as close to precision as i could get. Still is. but the meter in the Vari taught me a hell of a lot about dripping and because of that i can go back to my bottom feeding again when i want, but to me, dripping is an art, and the essence of vaping.... that's me, my opinion.

p.s. never got into carto's but i will fill a tank now and then, with a Boge or a Fusion carto.

Sitting on my couch now with a movie, ProVari Mini, shot glass with 3 different atty's, 3 ohm dripping atty on the Mini set at 6 volts and a large pickle jar with assorted juices.

Apart from the nice overdose very happy!

Hmm Florida Citrus Explosion.

Have to say very happy with the VMod XL and tank during the week but this is the fun stuff.

I started out with cartos, then went to carto tanks. I loved them so much I wound up with seven tanks.
Somewhere along the line I discovered dripping and was amazed at the difference it made. I also discovered that I was a natural and could drip perfectly in any style atty. Needless to say, my carto tanks have been languishing for months.
The last couple months I've had the Odysseus, and while the short-mode tank provides the best of both worlds, I still prefer it in drip mode. There is nothing like the control and relaxation you have when you drip. I just find the whole process soothing.

I drip 100% of the time. I started with cartos, then moved to carto tanks, and now drip 100% of the time. Once a month I will punch a carto, put it in a tank and give it a shot, and I just can't get into it. It tastes like a carto. Dripping is simple, tastes great, and for me, it is not a problem to vape this way all of the time.

Funny, when I first started vaping over a year ago, dripping was all the rage.

Now, all I hear about are cartomizers and tanks. But, I also constantly hear about leaking, juices that destroy cartos, VG is too thick for them, etc. Then I hear about some nonsense with using vice grips and other tools to punch holes in cartos. It sounds like a nightmare! I'd also have a hard time giving up my favorite all-VG juices, or having to mess with diluting them with distilled water - then, there is the freedom to have a few drops of this, a few drops of that, without ever having to think twice about it.

Is anybody out there still dripping besides me?

No way my freind.... I have been direct dripping for over 2 years and find it to be the best for taste and performance..
The problem is I just recived my first VV Mod, a Black Satin Provari with Blue LED... Wow does this thing eat up juice... Do I finally need to try a tank??

No, you'll just eat more juice and not realize it until it's too late. :D
I think once you settle in with VV and various atties most suited for it, you'll be good.

Ha ha, good to hear I'm not alone! Yeah, I think I will also stick with dripping...sitting at my desk, in teh last half-hour, I've alreday dripped four flavors, and wouldn't wnat it any other way.

Of course, I also work at home, so there is hardly a time when dripping would be inconvenient. I've even dripped at restaurants, concerts, you name it, no troubles.

If I have to start to do any heavy-duty driving or something like that, maybe I'll consider another bottom-feeder like the REO...

Since the new easy fill tank styled cartos have come out, my atty's are collecting dust. I don't get any carto taste. Since the newer CE4+ has been out, further yet away from dripping. I take 4 CE4+'s with me each day and each with a different flavor. When the tank is down to it's last couple drops, you can see it to roll the now thickened drops onto the wicks and get some really potent, tasty clouds and I get a pre burn warning before it goes dry. I have not had to clean a battery connection since these came out and thank GOD that gurgling spittle sound thing has finally stopped.
