I've been wanting an eVic since I came back to vaping because I'm a gadget freak, and I finally worked enough with vv that I felt comfortable getting it, plus big black friday sale helped too.

So I got it and after using it for a bit I decided to get the software up and plug her in to check out the features. When I do this my computer screen is covered in error messages, at least a couple dozen. Hmm that doesn't look good, I clear them up, but don't get what's wrong from the message. This was a couple weeks ago so I couldn't tell you what the message was, so I 'ejected' the eVic and unplug it. It was frozen saying uploading and was not responding, so I took the battery out for a few minutes then put it back in. I go to turn it on... and nothing. Won't come on, won't fire, won't work. So I'm a touch panicked, my dream mod isn't working, I looked at every thread technique on how to try to get it going and no luck.

I know I made a few mistakes, but the question isn't how I may have screwed it up, here's the question.

I sent it back to the site I ordered it from to exchange it, but they test it before exchanging, so I get an update saying it's working fine with a variety of attachments. Huh? I asked if they had done something to fix it, because I thought I tried everything and it was toast. They responded they didn't change it in any way just put the battery in and it turned on fine, and asked if I'd tried taking it out then back in. I had... several times.

All the stress of thinking I'd broken it, trying to fix it, sending it back, and waiting... then it works just fine? Is there some kind of reset that happens if the battery is out long enough or something? Any explanation for this at all?
