An incredible Cartomizer

Hi All,

Here’s a little review based on something CigEasy’s not really pushing yet and a scenario based on “What if?”

What If … I never experienced the Go-go/Go-carts? What was I doing before Go-go Mania turned me into a Go-go Maniac member of Go-go Nation? I was happily vaping away on a Gold Label Deluxe cartomizer using an Elegant Easy XXL 1300mAh battery.

For a great read here’s SSV2’s excellent review:

http://www.e-cigaret...-1-fat-bat.html

A couple of Gold Label Deluxes in my pocket, the XXL 1300, and I was set for the day (12-15 hours).

I guess Frank liked my video ...

http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/fo...ideo-reviews/185806-my-e-cig-year-review.html

... because he sent me a couple of boxes of what he calls on his website “Mini Go-carts.” If you go to Cigeasy and click on “DIY EMPTY CARTOMIZERS” you’ll see off on the right, “NEW EMPTY MINI GO CARTS.”

http://www.cigeasy.c...tegory_s/30.htm

Mini-Go-carts??!! How can this be??!! This I gotta try. So I loaded up the syringe with 1ml of my favorite juice of the day (1/3 Camel, 1/3 Marlboro, and 1/3 RY4) and filled up the mini Go-cart.

Wow. In order to really test it I exclusively vaped the one cartomizer. I refilled it 8 times before the taste, not the performance, told me it was time for cleaning. It was getting just a hint of harsh. After cleaning (ultra-sonic), and drying overnight, I re-filled it in the morning and used it all day (with another refill in the afternoon.)

I repeat: Wow. Taste, TH, and vapor production are still all there. I’ve put this carto on a pass-through, an 808 auto and manual, an Elegant easy, the XXL, and finally on a Go-go with a KR808 adapter because I missed the “feel” of the Go-go. It’s really something.

This is the perfect KR808 cartomizer for everyone who is a dedicated re-filler.

What if … I woke up tomorrow and all my Go-go’s/Go-carts mysteriously disappeared? After much rending of clothes and gnashing of teeth I’d eventually calm down and fill up a mini-Go-cart and be pretty satisfied. Moral of the story? If you know someone who doesn’t want to jump into the Go-go waters and is perfectly happy in KR808 world … this is as close to a Go-go experience I’ve found. Mini Go-carts … who’d a thunk it?

I like to know about the thick juices also.
I just bought 3 boxes of the new Vapornine turbo cartos and they are not working for me.
I hesitate to seek out new carto's. My juice is 100% VG. I would really like to find some new carto's that would work with it. The Turbo's literally burned up after one drag. Although I don't know if it was my juice or not. Even my cheap Boge's didn't do that.

Are these the "new" ones? They have the horizontal coils for sale now, although I couldn't figure out which is which on the site. The horizontals can taste burnt on a freshly charged V4L battery. You might want to try them again once the battery has discharged a bit. There was a lot of talk when Bloog's cartos first came out - they don't work that well with the non-regulated battery like V4L. Whatever ohm's they come in work best at a regulated 3.6. I believe Vapornine's are the same or similar to Bloogs.

I have used 100% VG in Bloogs and similar horizontal coil cartos. I filled them very slowly, , like 5 drops at a time - took a lot of patience, lol. But I was able to get them to wick.

I don't know if it was a horizontal coil or not but they are worthless to me.
They are the kind that just came out a few weeks ago.
They get burnt also if I use 100 PG
I get tired of fiddling with carts but usually I don't have to fiddle with them until after a few refills. I refuse to fiddle right off the bat.
I guess all the new and improved carto's aren't for me.

When you pop the top off the carto, can you see a blue or black wire in the middle? If there's no visible wire, then its the horizontal carto.

Sorry to hear your having so many issues with them. When I used one on a freshly charged V4L, they tasted burnt for the first few puffs, until the voltage on the battery went down. Whats happening (from all the reading I've done) is that the filler isn't actually burning. I don't know what the taste comes from, but in my case it didn't last long.

I would email VaporNine & tell him what happened. It sounds like the ohm's on your cartos were way off, causing the prolonged burnt taste. Bloog had these problems a while back, but all the horizontals that I've used in the last couple of months have been fine (but again I use a regulated 3.6v batt, instead of a V4L). I'm sure Ben will take care of you.

Bobalex: thanks for the tip. I wonder how these compare to bloog cartos and how they will perform with a regulated BMF style battery. My Bloog doesn't give me enough TH.

I've got some in the shopping cart now. If they're the same as every other "new style" 808d-1 then I don't want to split up my order between two vendors. I think I'll contact them and ask first.

(edited) What kind of tip do they have?

Thanks for the review- everything changes so fast and reviews from someone experienced in alot of different units mean the world to someone like me! I know now what I'm after and you're helping me narrow the field and saving me alot of time and $$$ in mistakes! I may not make the right choice, but at least it won't be so far wrong.

Thank you. Have you ever used a bloog MF style carto? I'd love to hear from someone who has tried both for comparison

Yes. I Blooged a MF carto on the Bloog mini battery. Nice. And if I put a Bloog carto cap on CigEasy's mini-go-cart ... I can't tell the difference. For what it's worth ... I vape 100% PG tobacco flavors. I've read that VG and sugary flavors tend to wick slower and gunk up the coils in any carto waaaaaay faster than PG. So depending on your type of juice ... your mileage may vary.

I just reordered some new turbo cartos and a couple of batteries from Vapornine, and I did notice the cartos were different, but pleasantly so. I use fluids from TastyVapor, and I've been a fan of V9 turbos since they were introduced... I don't use them on any high voltage battery, and I've found that the new ones don't crackle and pop like the old ones, but they also seem to produce a smoother vape. *NOTE: I have been off the forum for a while, so I'm catching up... smoked American Spirits for the past 7 months and have decided to quit again*
