Hey guys, I started vaping about two weeks ago. I went to Vapoligy ( a really awesome brick and mortar in Boise), and got setup on a Pink Riva starter kit. My setup right now is the riva with my newly obtained Vivi Nova. I love this thing, although last night the nova went a little wacky, but I seemed to have fixed the Problem. My question is, where do I go from here?? I'm already getting bored with my Riva, and have been looking at the Ego twist for my transition into VV. Any other suggestions would be much appreciated :).

I recommend the mini BCC from Ismoka. It's like the top-coil atomizer, but with the coil/wick atomizer head on the bottom of the tank instead of the top. I've realized that this fits my preference, and I am now not a fan at all of any tank that has the wick/coil at the top (just my own preference). Shops everywhere are selling these tanks with the top coil atomizers, because that's what they've been getting from their wholesellers, and there's millions of them flooding the market right now. I think that the bottom coil tanks are going to take their place eventually. Maybe the Kanger protank (it's beautiful, and made of glass), and Kamry makes a plastic version that looks just like it called the X9 Protank. I own them both, and they are both great. I have the BCC, too, and they're just as good, if not better then the protank. Maybe try the DCT tanks (tanks with cartomizers inside of them). They vape great, and are affordable. You'll find out what suits you as time goes on and you try out this and that. Good Luck and Happy vaping.

Welcome to the forum, I can recommend the ego twist VV, it is nice to be able to adjust your voltage, just a small adjustment can really change your vape and they are always good to have in your vaping arsenal. The Viva Nova and my favorite the Kanger T2 are top coil clearomizers, which give you a warmer vape. The Evod and protank are bottom coil clearomizers which gives you a cooler vape, so it's really what you prefer.

I got a Vamo V3 in my vapemail this week and I really like it, but for me it simply is too large to take out and about so I will continue to use my Ego twists for out and about.

My suggestion is before you purchase too many clearomizers, tanks or juice delivery systems, invest in variable voltage as it can really change how the juice deliver systems vape.

VV is a worthwhile "upgrade", and the Spinner is a little easier to read than the Twist. Both are good, as is the Winder.

I'd suggest getting one bottom coil clearo. I like the Kanger T3 and Evod. Bottom coil units vape a little differently than the top coils, so getting one to try, and comparing it to your current top coil, makes sense. Before buying dozens of anything :p

iTaste VV 3.0 over Twists or Spinners. It's the same size a small Twist but offers some additional highly useful features.

Variable watts (VW) - like variable voltage (VV) you adjust the temperature to the warmth of vape you prefer. However, unlike VV, after that the VW does the math and automatically adjusts the warmth of the vape to what you initially set irrespective of the oHms of the juice delivery device.

A display which shows you the voltage or watt setting, how much remaining power your battery has, the oHms of your juice delivery device and a puff counter. The oHms readout will be particularly handy if you ever decide to rebuild coils.

Pass-through capability which means you can vape while you charge.

Fast Tech ships from Hong Kong so there is about a 10 day to 2 week wait but they have the kits which include five iClear 16 clearos for a very, very good price.

I would also suggest picking up a Kanger Pro Tank mini or one of the newly released standard size v2s. The Pro Tanks have glass tanks that will hold up to juices that will crack the plastic tanks, juices that crack the plastic on clearomizers. The Pro Tank comes in a mini version that won't be top-heavy on the iTaste.

Oh man thank you guys, perspera I love Grimm Green :) He totally rocks. Its just all so confusing but a lot of my questions and info has come from this site. Its kinda like the Reddit for "E Cigs" lol! Thank you all who replied to my post. And another question, are Kangers really that bad? I have a friend who is dead set against them, but I've heard A LOT of good things about the Pro Tank.

I have several Kangers - T3, Evod, Protank. All work well, and no problems here. My usual topper.

Sometimes a person will get a new topper and have problems, then consign them all to the trash bin. Instead of searching ECF for the oddities of that device and learning how to use it to it's best.

It's hard to know why your friend doesn't care for Kangers other than they are bottom coils which produce a cooler vape than top coil clearomizers like the iClears or Vivi Novas. One style isn't necessarily better than the other. It's just a matter of personal taste and you should try both to see what you like.

Also, there is no such thing as a juice delivery device that never misbehaves for anyone, ever. However, Kanger's are very popular on ECF and are generally quite reliable and trouble-free.

The Pro Tank comes mini version holds less juice but isn't top-heavy on the iTaste.

The regular-sized Pro Tank v2 is just starting to be delivered to vendors. You can use your own drip tips on the v2, the glass tank is replaceable and Kanger strengthened the 510 connection.
