An odd question for some of you fellow vapers.

Do any of you vapers now vape more/a lot more then, you smoked daily or weekly? Me personally I was smoking maybe 10 cigarettes max a week(and that was rarely that id smoke that much), most likely around 4-6 a week. But now I'm basically a chain vaper! Don't get me wrong I'm glad I switched even though I got into it as a preventive measure from maybe smoking more and also from my grandma mostly dying from smoking most her life and didn't want to have it happen to me. Lol sorry I got sidetracked. But anyways do any of you feel that you're vaping more daily or weekly then you were when you were smoking?

I learned today that although I am vaping more than I smoked, I am probably taking in far less nicotine.

In a moment of weakness, after a month off tobacco, I lit a cigarette, took 3 hits off it, and almost immediately felt overdosed on nicotine. Sweaty, head rush, nausea, heart palpitations... from a marlboro ultra light. EDIT: I used to smoke about 25 of them a day. I don't know how I did it.

I put that nasty thing out and went back to my vape.

Here's a not helpful answer; yes and no.

Okay, more when I'm sitting around the house but less when I'm out and about. I've gone from 24mg to 6mg and often zero. It took a long time to figure out what I really wanted was the feeling of inhaling and exhaling smoke/vape to get that calming or relaxed feeling. Smoking in the beginning, though I didn't know it, it was to cope with severe ADHD. Didn't even know what it was then. I smoked 43 years, have vaped--no cigarettes--11 months and the manual habit of smoking/vaping is still very strong. At least I'm not killing myself doing it anymore and I'm pretty darned happy about it. Vape on :2cool:

I have ADHD as well. My doc told me that my caffeine us and smoking were an indication that I was self medicating. Both are stimulants and have a similar effect on me as Ritalin. I'm not worried about the vaping. It's either that or medication.

I was smoking 40 a day, and so it was hard for the vaping to be any longer in duration on day one. Now, the initial novelty factor has worn off a bit, and I actually find that I'm reminded to vape by the feeling of nicotine deprivation, as with smoking. I do believe that I'm spending less time vaping than I did smoking, and getting a lot less nicotine.

The thing is, when I smoked I could easily smoke so much that I got that slightly nauseous feeling of OD-ing (at least once a week); now I never achieve that. I've actually tried to do it, but didn't achieve it yet before I got bored.

I also probably vapes more than I smoked. Although at my peak I was smoking 2 packs a day (at 15 years old) and when I quit in October I was down to about 1 pack a day. I find that I usually vape enough to where I don't get nicotine cravings very often. I really enjoy the act of vaping a lot. I could see myself still doing it some day even with 0mg juice. Being currently unemployed and spending a lot of time at home doesn't help with the juice consumption though.
