Hey all,
I have been doing a lot of trial and error with my Riva SE (1100 mah) starter kit from Sweet vapes (thanks everyone!!). When I first got it I was so kind of scared of messing it up, but once I got started...there was no stopping me. I have definately drastically cut down my analogs and very soon see a "no analog day" in my future. I'm really enjoying vaping. Its nice to feel good about something for a change, as I remember all too clearly those days when I woke up saying I wasn't going to smoke and later was angry at myself for being halfway through a cig I forgot I wasn't supposed to smoke later in the day :) It funny on a few occasions I really wanted an analog and found myself thinking, "That ecig isn't gonna cut it for this. I waited too long," but I tried anyway and it DID!!!

ANyway, going for another round of orders. I'm finally getting the hang (I think) of filling the cartos, but I actually like dripping a lot, especially being so new and trying all of the flavors. I started with one...then thought I liked it, then tried another, liked it better, and on and on. So dripping allows me to do this without wasting a carto on something I may hate.

I want to buy another wall/usb charger set for my batteries, but I am not sure if all of the 510 usb and wall adapter will fit. I was going to order again from Sweet-vapes, but they are out of the wall adapter. So now i'm looking at Madvapes and having some difficulty figuring out if what they list 501 usb charger/wall adapters will work. I may also take a look at Liberty flights to see if they have anything as well (remember I'm cheap! Ha!)

Few questions:
1) Is it safe to use my computer to charge the 1100mah batteries? It just makes me really nervous so I doubt i'll do it, but thought it is worth asking.

2) I also have a 750 mah battery. Is it okay to charge this on the charger that came with the 1100mah starter kit?

Again, thanks so much to all of the folks who were so helpful and told me to just get started! My family, friends and lungs thank you :)

1) Yes it is safe, but there are a few horror stories about computers being fried. I avoid any risk of frying my $1200 rig and just use the wall adapter, and even then I supervise it as it charges. If you must charge using USB, do it via a USB hub.

2) As long as the mah rating on the USB charger is LESS than the mah of the battery being charged, you are good to go.

One last tip on charging: Always assemble the chargers and batteries first. Then plug it all in. This will protect the battery from the initial overcurrent "shock."

Here is how the whole charger/battery mah was explained to me....

...as good an answer as you can get...
I would NEVER use my hi dollar PC to charge my (relatively)cheap ecig batt when an under 5 dollar wall wart(AC/USB adpt) will do the same...as long as the charge cable's rated output is under 500mah, you are good to go................
