So I have a eGo-C mini starter pack coming from SmokeTec. It only comes with the USB charger for the battery.

I have my Blu wall charger that has the USB output on the bottom to plug in the charging cord.

Question:

Can I use this wall adapter for the new eGo-C that I am getting?

It is a Jieshibao Power Adapter, DC 5V, 0.5A (500mA).

Thanks

Short answer, yep you'll be fine.

ajohnson13 is 100% right in that you need to meet or exceed the current requirement for your eGo-C rapid charger. My eGo charger is rated at 5v DC 500mA in and 4.2v DC 420mA out. You need to meet or exceed the current input requirement (called out in mA or A, milli amps or amps respectively) and you absolutely have to match the voltage requirement. If you were to somehow deliver say 10 volts to a eGo charger you would fry it; however a female USB port always delivers 5v, so you're good there.

I use a USB power supply that is rated at 2.1A and it works. It doesn't charge any faster, or slower for that matter. The eGo charger simply draws the amount of current it need.
