Hi there,

I just had to share my excitement after a rather interesting 1 year vaping journey. After trying all the greensmoke, blue etc., I went on to buy the ego's with some Kanger tanks, tried roughly 200 different juices - you know the drill.

Finally, after purchasing some mod utensils (and researching extensively here on the forum and youtube) I've gotten my hands on a Kayfun and HOLY COW I've been smoke free ever since! Well, although it's been only 12 days, what I can say is that the taste is so delicious and intense that i haven't even had a craving for an analog.

And despite my coils being super ugly, I've been able to build them pretty consistently between 1.4 and 1.8 ohms with organic cotton. I like a good balance of clouds and flavor, so I'm pretty happy where I am right now. I'm even happier that I haven't had a craving for a stinky in 12 days (after smoking for 30 years)! The Kayfun was a true game changer for me after a truly ambiguous 12 months of buying vaping gear and juices, I now have found what fits my palette.

Cheers,
Pete

I'd been happily smoke-free for about 70-75 days when I got my first kayfun lite+ clone, but you're right, it's absolutely a game changer! I was able to decrease my PG level from 85PG/15VG, to 67PG/33VG, which my swollen feet and ankles really appreciate, which lets me tolerate the absolutely amazing throat hit, and without losing one bit of flavor. It's just astonishing. So after about a week with it, I bought a 2nd, though it doesn't have the "plus" -- no airflow control, so it's a really tight draw, which I like, but it's more challenging to get the wicking right. Planning to buy a 3rd soon, and I'll be getting another "plus" with airflow control, it's really much better, even though I do prefer a tighter draw than most folks who like rebuildables.

Congrats on the 12 days! Good job, and glad you found your ticket off the cigarette boat to hell! :D :thumb:

What a coincidence Andria, I too purchased a lite+ and a 3.1 clone at the same time - love them both, but they're quite different. The taste however is amazing on both.

I got tired of my favorite juice (Boba's Bounty) clogging up my attys and found out through the forum here that RDA's and RBA's do much better with high VG juices. I just wish I could find more variety to satisfy my taste buds, so far only BB's and Nickoticket's Radioactive qualifies for an ADV for me (H1N1 is still steeping).

At first I thought I only like tobacco flavors, but I don't think that's true anymore, but I'm slowly easing my way into other flavors. The biggest challenge is to find the first-thing-in-the-morning vape. Boba's has done well with that, but it certainly is not my favorite in the morning......still looking ;-)

Cheers,
Pete

I tend to favor the 3.1 over the lite , a little better airflow IMO , If you like BB you might want to try Heathers Heavenly Vapes , their Heavenly Army has a similar graham note to it but creamy , you can get any ratio and nic level you want from them and the prices are excellent for a top tier product .

When I first started vaping, it seemed very sweet to me, and first thing in the morning, every vape tastes sweet to me, no matter what it is, so I figured I might as well actually vape something that IS sweet. I've been using a mix I made myself, which is basically apple-cinnamon with a hint of clove; it's actually Pipe Sauce "Oak Barrel Cider," Killer-Juice's Cinnamon Redhot, and MadVapes Clove, and also just a touch of Halo's Turkish, it's kinda spicy. It really gets me going in the morning, and I find I also like other fruit flavors then; apricot is great, blueberry muffin is *to die for*, and pineapple is also great.

The rest of the day, it's just MyFreedomSmokes' Virginia, with a bit of that Oak Barrel Cider and Cinnamon Redhot, just to accentuate flavors that are already in the Virginia, just very subtle. The other day I put my regular into a kayfun that had been full of the blueberry muffin, and even though I washed it well, there was still just a hint of the blueberry, and it was really great, so I've been experimenting with adding just a few drops of the blueberry into a tankful of my regular Virginia+, it's delicious; very multi-layered, the way some wines are.

If you want to move beyond all-tobacco-all-the-time, fruit flavors are a good way to do it; not as sweet as, say, chocolate or vanilla; they're very light flavors, which is good with fruit.

Tonight I ordered some Banana Nut Bread and Double Apple, from high desert vapes, they're having a 50% off sale on ejuice - coupon code FIFTYOFF -- all thru June.
