So as I'm getting to know everyone around the forums so far, I'm getting to know some names, PBusardo, for one, thank you for taking the time earlier to personally offer your advice on my situation, I'm definitely still learning the ropes on this, but at least now with yours and everyone else's advice I have at least some knowledge and confidence in the gear I'm looking at.

I learned that shortly after asking the question by following a few pages on the innokin website lol

newplague,
I've heard a lot of good things about Reos mods, the only bad thing I've heard, and something that also makes me kind of iffy on the MVP, is the issue with leakage if the device is not kept upright. I like to keep these things in a breast pocket, although I could be putting my foot in my mouth, because these side by side battery mods seem like they'd be perfect for a breast pocket

Trypno, an MVP is not a tank. An MVP is made by Innokin and is a box battery of 2600 mah. It has nothing in it to leak. I have two. The version one which was my first vaping battery back last Aug. and the version II given to me for my 69th birthday in Oct. If anything leaks on this battery, it would be the type of tank attached to the top of it.

I have chained smoked 2+ pad for 53 yrs and was concerned about length of battery life. I also found the MVP could be used as a "pass through". That means I could plug it into the wall to charge it AND vape at the same time! I could also plug it into the car's lighter.....thingy...

I also use the Kanger ProTanks, both sizes, and the Davides, both sizes. None have leaked, and I have started rewicking with cotton and making my own coils. I also have the adapter to be able to use the Aspire double coil heads on both the Davide an ProTanks. Have had no problems with either named tanks and don't have to worry about what juices to put in them.

Six days after starting to vape, I went to my first "vape meet". They had a raffle and I won my first ProVari. What a "back up"! AND now when I go to the vape meets I'm known as "that ProVari lady". Got my second ProVari as well on my birthday in Oct. I'm a short, dumpy, wrinklely, white haired, old lady. I haven't smoked and analog since I started vaping. Still have two full cartons of cigs in pantry I plan on using in the fire pit as an offering to the "vaper gods" on my one yr anniversary. I DO dance around the kitchen each morning before filling the coffee pot and am having the best time in years and years......and feeling pretty good too!

I use all four of my "mods". Each gets a turn to be held, coddled, dressed up with colored glass and different tips. I love holding both and the fact they're well made. Can't go wrong with either one; however, you won't have any money left to buy your juices after buying a ProVari set up. Juices are very important, and you will buy a lot of sample sizes trying to find your favorites. Also, buying some juices a month ahead of time for them to "steep".

You takes your chances and make your bet. You win some, you lose some; but, hey, Trypno, it's a learning experience, interesting, exciting and fun......and healthier too! Good luck!

This blog should help you learn the difference of different juice attachments which go on the top of the battery devices (mods):
PROPER TERMINOLOGY: IS IT A CARTO, A TANK, OR WHAT? A GUIDE TO JUICE ATTACHMENTS

This blog should help you learn the difference between eGo's, tube mods (like the Provari), box mods (like the MVP), and bottom feeder mods (like the Reo). Regulated mods (variable voltage) allow you to adjust the voltage. Mechanical mods don't have this feature, they are essentially just a battery holder.
ADVANCING UP THE VAPING LADDER WITH EGO'S & MODS

You still seem confused with the MVP and the Reo. Both are "box mods" but the comparison stops there; the term box mod is just the form factor. The MVP is a regulated box mod with variable voltage/wattage which can use any type of juice attachment on top. A Reo is a bottom feeder box mod (usually a mechanical mod without variable voltage) which has a built-in tank for the e-liquid within the mod which feeds a juice attachment (usually a drip atomizer) that sits on top of the mod.

Thanks again everyone, the outpouring of advice I've received on this topic has been far more than expected.

Baditude, thank you so much for the verification, so the MVP stores the E-Liquid in the attachment ABOVE the box, and is built to take ANY tank, while the REO accepts E-Liquid bottles and feeds from the bottom. I gotta say after using the unregulated, mechanical tube mod I bought recently for nearly 1 week now, I think I might have to pick up either a REO or MVP to give them a try.

Now my biggest deal is going to be looking for a good IMR battery supplier, figuring out the different quirks of smoking this thing, and figuring out my preferred flavors, as well as hoping this thing lasts me until I can upgrade.
