analog tastes so bad after a week on e cig

i was half way through my pack of smokes when my e cig arrived- never touched the analog till the sixth day- just for kicks i thought i compare- to my surprise i couldn't do more then a couple of drags because of the awful taste- chucked the remaining smokes into the trash and never looked back

That's some good news. Just got an e cig myself and waiting for it to arrive, hope I get the same results. Anyways, what's an analog? I'm assuming it's a real cigarette (still learning what all these new terms are).

I usually tell people to keep on smoking their analogs after getting an e-cig if they want to. Generally they say the analogs taste .....Te after they get a good vape.

Indeed! I am currently running an atomizer system and I am still kinda new to vaping, so I don't have many yet. I only have the one atomizer and it's not tasting so fresh any more. I am giving it a coke bath right now, but was fiending for some juice. Had to pick up a pack of analogs... argh!

It is amazing how much our taste buds change after switching. I started with pre-filled cartridges and discovered e liquids a few months into vaping. I ordered a bunch of e liquids at once and one of the liquids I ordered was a Djarum Black imitation. I thought I would love it because it would get me the taste of cloves that I was still craving. I tried the liquid and I thought it was revolting. The smell of analogs and cloves are both disgusting to me now. I refuse to try any other vendor's clove because I know that I never really liked cloves. The only part of a Djarum Black that I liked was the cinnamon taste that was always on my lips. It just took a while of discovering my taste buds to realize that. Now I avoid answering any threads about cloves because of how biased I am towards that flavor.

The last time I smoked an analog I ended up getting a head rush, then a headache. They taste nasty to me after about 4 weeks, and now, I can't stand the smell of an analogs now.

it is funny I think about trying one to see if I hate it now but I am afraid I will still like it and go right back to smoking. almost 3 months quit I don't want to take a chance and blow it

Analog tastes a really bad after e-cigs. Every morning after I'd have one analog I wanted to vomit and can't even to finish the whole cigarette. It's like drinking a some nasty smelling poison. Brrr.

This may sound kinda OCDish but it's been almost 6 months since I made the switch to vaping and I was headed to the store the other day. I had my windows up and my AC on cause it was warm out. I was stopped at a stop light and suddenly I smelled cigarette smoke. It was just me and I was vaping Snickerdoodle....nothing close to analog smell there. I looked around for the culprit....turns out I see a guy in a car like 2 cars in front of me with his window down and his analog hanging out his window. Apparently the smell was coming in thru my AC!!! I quickly changed it to "recycle air setting" and the stink went away about 30 secs or so later! Anyone else ever notice that?

Yes! I can smell it when someone is smoking in a car that's traveling in my direction on the freeway. I like to drive with the window cracked a bit, but sometimes I have to roll it up because I don't want other peoples smoke to invade my space now. I can smell it a mile away.

Yes! I can smell it when someone is smoking in a car that's traveling in my direction on the freeway. I like to drive with the window cracked a bit, but sometimes I have to roll it up because I don't want other peoples smoke to invade my space now. I can smell it a mile away.

Oh that would drive me nuts! Can you maybe report it to the apartment management since it is supposed to be smoke free? Or just introduce them to e-cigs!!! LOL

Switched three months ago, after 34 years of heavy smoking (rolling my own for the last 11 years and consuming three 50g pouches of Captain Black B/W a week).
My wife, a pack a day smoker, also switched, but not completely. She still smokes a ciggy before going to bed. Well, that smells funny, to say politely...
