For some reason the payments are taking a week or longer to clear and i can't find an option to pay with card or i couldn't, idk... but this payment needs to clear first...

Wow PP usually snatch my money up within the hour after hitting the buy button! Is this from the REO site?
Are you using the paypal check option? That one takes weeks. It takes forever for the money to clear.
Once you go to paypal, it gives you the option to either use your paypal account or to use paypal as a guest. When you use paypal as a guest, it will take you to another screen and give you other options like visa, MC, etc...

I have both a bank account (not even sure that account exists anymore - but it's how I got verified years ago) and a credit card set up in Paypal. I always have the option as to which to use - but I can't change the default payment to the credit card, so each time I just select it to use.
I think PP is the debil. finally got a Wallet Card for my Google Wallet acct- now I can send money without locking my debit card and bank account for the rest of the day!
Yeah PP used to be cool. I occasionally sell stuff on ebay and never had any issue getting my money on paypal right away, like as soon as my stuff sold and paid for the money is right there. I sold some car parts on ebay 2 weeks ago and the guy paid for it using paypal but ebay and paypal held my money for a week! very new to me! so did some reading and searching and found out that their doing that now for buyer/seller safety. Got some funds now for a reo! just waiting on the wife because she's in VA to see her brother. My 2 cats are not smart enough to sign for a package lol and my work schedule doesn't help either.
I sold a cell phone on ebay and the buyer accidentally paid with an echeck through PayPal. He got made because I hadn't shipped and it took him 2 weeks to realize what he did and apologize.

I have a friend that ended up having 20,000 dollars held up in an investigation for over 6 months. Wasn't cape related. It was all donations from his work building apps and roms for phones. He got it all back after he got in touch with a lawyer who sorted it all out and told paypal to shove it. Since then I keep my paypal linked to a dummy account. The only thing that bank account is for is paypal.
