i just read a bunch of the posts, man this thread is so derailed. But i guess when i created it it was kind of a fluff thread anyways.

New topic!

How you pick flavors!(or the weather i suppose)

Sorry about that...didn't mean to derail ya :/

What do you mean how do we pick flavors? Like how do we pick the ones to purchase...?

That is a weird question. How does anyone choose? For me it's back to the subjective clause. I now pick whatever seems to fancy me. If I like the name, if I "think" I will like the flavor, if I HAVE liked like flavors, if there are free samples, if many people like them.... if I don't normally like that flavor in food... I might be more into trying it. just because YOU NEVER KNOW??? :) really. It is a wonderland of anticipation and excitement. I find the best part is waiting... and finding out. After that you have choices. As long as you have something you like that will last you... I say go crazy! sheesh... I did lol

I usually research the reviews pages to pick new vendors, but unless there is a huge hype about a specific flavor, I pick my own flavors from each vendor. I basically figure if tons of people love a vendor, I should at least try them and give them a shot. And it has worked for me... I now know more what to look for in vendors that I will probably like. I tend to like the natural artisan type vendors the best. It usually comes with a higher price tag, but its usually worth it to me. I can taste the quality and I appreciate it wholeheartedly. I now tend to stay away from the vendors that have HUGE lists of flavors. I look at it kinda like restaurants... if you go somewhere that has a 20 page menu, its probably not as high quality as a restaurant that has maybe 5 or 6 things on the menu. Sure, some items might be good, but I am much more likely to be blown away by the fancy restaurant.

YES! I guess I have done that as well. :) My brother found a hardware vender with a free 15 ml... should give them a shot as well.
