Vision Spinner and Ego V PROBLEMS!!!!!!!!!!!

So I thought my Vision spinner broke, so I bought a inexpensive 510 VV battery, found out the charger went bad after less than 3 weeks charger light never turned green while charging. Got a new charger, fixed the Vision Spinner charging issues, the other VV battery I got barely worked, so I exchanged it for the the Ego V the next day. On the second day having the Ego V and the new 510 charger problems with both arrived. The charger is now always at green and the charger acts if the spinner battery is fully charged, I cleaned everything with alcohol lifted the pin a bit carefully tried the old charger that just stayed red and it too is just acting if it's fully charged. Borrowed a different charger, looks like it's charging it normally? CAN MY BATTERY BE DAMAGING MY DONGLE CHARGERS? Also the Ego V says it's fully charged from dead in an 1-1.5 hrs instead of 2.5-3 hrs, but after about 30 vapes I loose 1 bar of battery, plug in the charger and a few seconds later says the battery is fully charged. Any ideas?

I'm really sorry to hear about this issue you're having, and I don't really have a clue as I'm rather new to this scene myself.

I am wondering if the VV battery you purchased is the one from fasttech for 17-18 USD as I just purchased one and there's no reviews or anything about it.

No I bought both in stores couldn't wait for shipping and both of mine are pretty well known, just can't find anything on here or online about people with the same issues or similar issues with solutions?

I don't know about those but want to say it's better to let the battery get pretty low before recharging:unsure:
I assume you've got the right kind of charger so ....
Anyway, bumping you back up :)

Thanks, I got a 30 day warranty from 8/9 to take back my Ego T, but the spinner I'm stuck with just trying to figure out if it's my spinner that is corrupting my chargers or if I had a bad charger that damaged my battery before I get a new charger?

Might want to look around for a Brand Name charger.
Also allow the batteries to deplete a bit before trying to top off.
One Bar is not a lot of drop and moving from 3 to 4 bars does NOT mean it is filly charged, just up to the next level.

If you are screwing the Batteries onto the charger to tight, you could be shorting the center to outer contacts - Dead short. This might damage the chargers.

All the stores I go to don't have a brand charger, I screw the charger on just enough that the light turns red, and the tanks on some what loosely so I don't damage anything.

According to the instructions on the Ego V, when the battery bar stops flashing it's fully charged and is definitely not, it is a different charging method it is a pass through.

The Ego V's have known longevity issues. Both of mine died within 60 days. However, my replacements, the iTaste 3.0's have been excellent and going strong. About $5 - 10, more, but really like a full featured APV, like a Vamo, with 800 mAh and usb charging. Very nice. Highly recommended. Sorry about your problems. I have seen this post topic a few times over the last few months, and the story is always very similar, I'm sorry to say. Good luck, happy shopping, Best to you!

I look in to that if the Vapor store has that when I go to exchange my Ego V. But, still don't get the deal with my 510 chargers?

I don't buy anything unless it is the brand name. Example....my egos have to be Joyetech, Spinners have to be Vision with the appropriate chargers. Not that there is anything wrong with cheaper version, I would prefer to buy cheap, but sometimes you get what you pay for and still at that some of the name brand have issues. But I believe that you can have more issues with the clones than with the name brand and lots of people sale egos, they are just not Joyetech. Just my :2c:worth. Good luck:D

Are you charging from a mains adapter or plugging into a USB port on a PC/laptop? Mains adapters usually put out 400ma whereas a some USB ports can put out much more. I read about a case where someone caused their ego battery to explode and the manufacturer was blaming the use of USB charging.

I use both the instructions say I can plus in the box it only came with a cable.

Normally I do, but teven the kit I got had a cheap charger and actually one of the stores I go to the guy told me that everything is a risk because it's all made in china and the wires inside are hair thin, wish they stopped making crap in china.

Good to know. It also explains why my battery charges much quicker using the computer USB. Won't be doing "that" again.

Years ago I had the battery replaced in my Palm PDA. Had it charging setting on my desk while I was in the other room. Heard a BANG and walked into my office just before the fire got to the curtains. Glad I was home at the time or it would have burned the house down.

I never charge anything unless I'm home, and awake!

I think next time I need to buy myself some smaller form factor batteries, the itaste 3.0's will be it.
