It's easy to convert some, but others are like we use to be, making excuses for smoking. Mine was always that I didn't want to gain weight, at 54 who cares, lol. I just use mine around family/friends, and many have came around. It's fun when they show an interest. I give Steve's cards out when people ask about it as well. My cousin is waiting for me to visit so she can try mine out, and I have a friend from ND that is visiting on Tues., will be showing it to her also. Being they both asked questions about it, I think I will have 2 converting.

Well..I still havent received my first order and with a bit of explaining I managed to get one of my friends to order a small kit to get started as well. I think its also the technical side of things that turn people off..eg: I tried to explain it to an older family member of mine and they just threw their hands in the air and said forget about it (but dont worry I havent givin' up him yet, im sure once I let him try mine he will come around)

Received my order on Tuesday Nov 24. Haven't been online in a couple days so could not post before this

Placed order evening of Nov 13 (friday) order was shipped morning of Nov 16 (Monday) and received it (as stated above) Nov 24 (tuesday) That makes 11 days. HOWEVER considering it was originaly ordered friday evening you can't really count Fri, Sat and Sun so that takes it down to 8 days minus a couple days for the weekend is 6 business days. From previous experience that is very good time for international shipping and is actualy faster than some itemsI have ordered from withing Canada LOL.

In regards to the order itself there were a couple minor problems. I ordered 2 UU kits which each come with a pack of cartos, 1 with vanilla (for me) and one with a tobacco flavor, hilton I think but can't remember off the top of my head (for my mother) but I got vanilla for both. Also, they were apparently out of stock of the 2 24mg menthol I ordered. HOWEVER these minor problems were more than made up for with the extras sent. The out of stock menthol were replaced with a 36mg menthol and another vanilla PLUS 4 extra packs of assorted cartos, an extra silver auto battery, a long green manual battery and 2 little carry pouches.

I ordered a bunch of different flavors all at 24mg and have not tried them all out yet as I ordered what I think would be enough for an entire month of vaping without analogs. Since I doubt I'll be able to quit analogs straingt to vaping cold turkey I should actualy have enough for over a month. Due to $25 shipping to Canada I planned and will most likely continue to plan to place large orders on a monthly or so basis. As for what I have tried so far, here is my experiences:

1) I think I would have been better off getting 18mg instead of 24mg as everthing I have tried so far seems to be too strong causing a lot of coughing and a burn at the back of the throat.

2) The 36mg menthol was DEFINATELY too strong but has good flavor nontheless

3) I didn't like the taste of the cappacino, my mother however liked it a lot so I gave her that pack of cartos

4) Mother and I both like the vanilla so it's not a big problem that she got that instead of the tobacco flavor she ordered with her kit. We ordered 1 vanilla but got 3

5) Cool menthol which I had previously gooten a freebie from someone (Thanks again) in 11 mg I really liked when I tried it however the 24mg I ordered and received seems to have less flavor to it. Could this be due to the higher nic strength?

6) Grape I find to be low on flavor, once again may be due to too high a nic strength.

7) Received but did not yet try... Lemon merangue, chocolate, banana, peanut butter, m'boro (cowboy?) menthol, raspberry (freebie not ordered), ice cream sundae and strawberry.

After I have tried all the flavors I will probably do a review of all of them in a seperate post in regards to flavor and vapor production. My review may not be too accurate though since as mentioned above I think I ordered too strong by going 24mg and will most likely go with 18mg next time round. I'm also thinking of compliling a daily diary starting with a day or 2 of keeping track of analog usage without any vaping. I bought a fresh carton the day before receiving my order and hate to waste the money just throwing them away After the 2 day history control I will start vaping with using analogs as needed and keep track of how many fewer analogs I use and see if I continue to lower analog usage. Once again this may not be the best result due to nic strenght I got and the burning and hacking of using the 24mg. On the other hand, it may just be that I need to get used to them and figure out the proper draw amount to stop the hacking. Will be an interesting adventure :p

Congrats on the nice Bday present to your self :)
PS I coughed alot the first few days as well. I still do on the first vape of the morning but then it goes away. I might be a little alergic to PG maybe..

Addendum to the above. I started tring out some of the flavors I had not yet tried (banana cream pie and strawberry) and once again had a coughing fit when I took my first few vapes. After a few puffs however the coughing stopped and then as part of a test went back to the 36mg menthol and even with that I did not have the coughing fit. This is showing me that the coughing is probably being caused by my throat just not being used to the PG vapor and once I get more into vaping and less into analogs this should easily cease to be a problem. As I was testing those flavors I was writing up info for a review but then decided that work was probably not the best place to be doing the review and I will start over with fresh cartos and fresh batteries when I've got a day off. I have decided I will most likely do the review in a table/chart format based on the following criteria:

1) Puff and release (take a puff and let it out without inhaling): based on scent, taste and vapor production.

2) Inhale: based on taste in mouth during inhale, throat hit (hash or smooth) and scent

3) exhale: based on aftertaste, scent and vapor production.

Not entirely sure how I can post a spreadsheet type table on this forum but I'll try to figure it out :p

I'm also considering doing a video along with the table but I've never done a video before and as of yet have no clue how to go about doing one let alone posting one......guess I'll have to see if I can figure that out as well assuming I can get up the courage to post my ugly mug in a video format. I usualy hide from any nearby cameras 8-o

Congrats on receiving your order!! It does take your throat a bit to adjust to warm vapor instead of smoke but it sounds like you are already getting there! I find I cannot taste the flavors as well in a higher nic content carto so if you decide to adjust downward you will have to review the flavors again!

I hope both you and your Mom find this your way to kick the analogs!!

Just a tip, and for future reference....for Canadians ordering from V4L, use CanadaPost.ca to track your package, NOT USPS. Just go to canadapost.ca and enter your tracking number.

USPS will never show you anything outside of the package leaving Chicago.....most of the time.

Canada Post is a lot more reliable.

Took me ages to figure that out.

BTW...i just checked my recent package...spent a total of 1 minute in Customs.

Might have it tomorrow!
