As highly as I've recommended V4L to everyone who asks me about my PV, someone very important to me is having issues with their first order, and it's making me look really bad.

She placed her order, and when she received it, the cartos would not screw down all the way onto the battery. She says she called customer service and they were rude and unhelpful. Which shocks me, because my experience with customer service has always been excellent. But as this is my boyfriend's mother, I really feel like I need to find a resolution for her.

She's tried using sandpaper on the threads, as I recommended, and it hasn't worked. I hope V4L can come through for her, because I really hate that after recommending them so whole-heartedly, she's having issues that are unresolved.

We will definitely replace those batteries for your friend. If you can ask your friend for their order number and pm it to me, I'll make sure it gets taken care of

I've had this issue, usually only with coolcarts, and the sandpaper thing doesn't work for me. It hasn't really been a big deal because I have about 2 or 3 older batts that they always work with. I think it has to do with the notch/no notch on the battery ends of both carto and batt. Jen Jen reminded me of this little fact, in another thread. All this doesn't help your BF's mom, though If she doesn't have the patience to go through CS, maybe you could PM one of the Big Guys yourself and explain the situation. I'm positive they will help resolve this problem!! Good Luck

Quick response, very helpful! She can be a little bit helpless sometimes, so I'm glad I was able to get this resolved for her (with Mark's excellent help, of course!).
