This would be a perfect opportunity to write a letter to the editor of those papers.

Tips:
  • Letters are more likely to be published if they come from a local resident.
  • Find out what the paper's limit is for length of a Letter to the Editor. Some are as short as 150 words, but some allow up to 250.
  • Most papers allow you to submit via email. This is better because it is faster.
  • Letters need to refer to a recently published article or editorial. So in the first sentence mention the title and the date the story ran.
  • Try to get your letter submitted within the first 48 hours after the story you are writing about was published.
  • Your letter has a better chance of being printed if you can quash your urge to "rip them a new one." Be polite and factual.
  • Have someone check your spelling, grammar, and punctuation before you send if off.

Oh haven't you heard? Ecigs will lead to the dreaded "dual use," and vapers who also smoke are in imminent danger of overdosing on nicotine... And even vapers who don't also smoke are GOING TO OD AND DIE![/SARCASM]

TobaccoFreeCa is busy back pedaling out of that statement and now they say... It's okay to fail, and dual, just don't give up the patch or gum! Lol.
