Maybe you could try the Patch. I am on day 15 of being smoke free and i still where the patch. I am finishing step two now then will move on to step three before stopping there use. I really do fill that having that constant input of nicotine from the patch is likely the main reason of me being 15 days smokeless. Also i took 33 days before going smoke free and stepped down at a comfortable pace until one morning I woke up and didn't want that morning cigarette (the most wanted of all cigarettes). I know a lot of people may quit over night, but I wasn't one of those people. I smoked for 22 years, so what if it takes me months to quit by slowly reducing my cigarette intake. Good Luck.

Most are missing what this person is saying. They are on the verge of rage.
We are not trained to deal with what this obviously patient person has told us. We can only tell to raise, or lower Nicotine levels.
Now, aside from any good advice that's already been given, rage is a whole different emotion. Most of you THINK you sense it, but the horrible things accompanied (in thought) that actually make rage, I KNOW some of you passive's do not suffer, or feel.

OP, you obviously have clear judgement, please, keep exercising this. And if you feel this is Nicotine related ( which is why you are here) do anything you can to up it. Hell, smoke if you have to. Just please, please be the thinker FIRST, the person you are now...

Great topic. I've been having these issues too, and I basically chain vape 24 mg (which makes me wonder if too much nic can incite aggression). On my 15th day off butts, and didn't realize what pacifiers they were. I knew, but didn't realize it to this degree. Knowing this and how controlled my emotions and behavior were by them is now the driving force to beat this. My rage has even turned on my ejuice with claims that this stuff is a gimmick, and then step back and remember that it has been 2 weeks since my last smoke, and it turns back into this stuff is amazing!

Try replacing that stress buster with something else such as dark chocolate. It actually has anti oxidant endorphin releasing properties. Pleasing food substitutions are excellent. Could even have a jar of jalapenos near by. Pop one of those and you'll just be in pain and focusing on nothing but that for a couple minutes. The breathing advice is simple and effective. If stepping out for a smoke was a peaceful refresher. Continue to do that. Step out for a vape, or take a short walk while taking those deep breaths...remove yourself from the stressor. Communicate your effort to quit smoking. It's curious that smoking is more addictive than hardcore drugs, which people go into detox for, yet we expect ourselves and are expected to continue our daily routines without interruption or complications. Hell with that said, take a day or two off from work to peacefully let your body and habits adapt to vaping. In a less stressful environment. Dunno if you drink coffee, but I am thinking I may need to try decaf because it might be adding to that edginess. One more addiction to bust.

But yeah. If you can, try to make dark chocolate a replacement habit. It's a mood lifter.

Hi, I've been using an e-cig for about 4 days now, and am trying to cut down on a 45-year, 1.5 PAD smoking habit, Pall Mall blues. I have 16 mg e-liquid, and am letting myself vape whenever I want and/or can.

I'm down to 2 or 3 analogues a day, which is absolutely great because I've never been able to stop smoking before this, but am having some difficult symptoms, including anger, close to rage, just hovering on the surface of my mind, ready to explode at the least provocation. Today it did explode.

This is really frightening to me, and has left me pretty shaken up, because I'm a teacher and work with exam-stressed older teenagers, who are seriously annoying right now.

Has anyone had this experience and if so, how did you handle it? Thank you!

Other than not buying an svd. I'm a service advisor at a car dealership what keeps me sane is knowing that the people going outside to smoke (like I used to) are slowly killing themselves way faster than I am. Especially being around some other non smokers helped a lot with encouragement

I think others have nailed your solution. Get a juice you like and up the nicotine. As a recent ex Pall Mall smoker I would recommend the Palmall with a little Turkish Blend w/WTA from Aroma Ejuice. The only other advice I have is take a three day fishing trip alone with no smokes. That saved me some prison time about a decade ago when I tried quitting for a girl before ecigs. I took exactly three days to get the nicotine out of my system and two months to start again. :(

I have no experience here but thought I would mention it since no one else has. An apparently Chinese .com website e-cig has these to product that could be relevant? I make no claims to it's usefulness or safety only the existance of such items. The fist link is for E-RIMONABANT and the second link is for a Quit Smoking vitamin that includes: Root of Kudzuvine, root Chinese of Senega, root of liquorice, breaks into leaf of blackberry, root of ginseng, bulb of lily.

Another teacher here. I definitely recommend the breathing/relaxation techniques. In the US, tobacco products are not allowed on campus, so snus and vaping aren't considered to be safe to use at work. The lozenges or gum could be useful, but the best recommendation I can make is REMOVE YOURSELF FROM THE SITUATION! Get the next door teacher or other staff to watch your class while you go to the lounge or restroom and de-stress. Most administrators would rather have you lose 5 minutes of class time instead of going ballistic in the classroom.
