Angry, spitting Kanger sub ohm.....

I recently purchased a Kanger sub ohm tank to see how it compared to the Atlantis, I really like the tank, but notice if it sits for any length of time (15 minutes or more) the coil floods and as soon as you try and use it, a lot of gurgling and very hot juice being spit out, yes I realize how inappropriate that sounds..lol. So has anyone else had this problem ? is it common ? or is there an easy fix??? Or did I just send fifty bucks down the drain?

rba or premade stock coil, 0.5 or 1.2 coils, which mod
i had that prob when i first got it but was using the mvp2 at its full 11 watts, now w/the istick 30w it basically stopped even at 11 watts, my thinking it needed more consistent power than the mvp could do but i really dont know.
im on my rba now and lovin it but will test later w/stock 1.2 coil on both mods

Kanger has beefed up its o rings as of recently. Depnding on when yours was manufactured you may not have the new o rings. Mine currently leaks a bit just above the airflow control ring and I ordered my kanger subtank as soon as they were released. If you need new o rings, kanger USA sells a complete set of the upgraded rings for 1.99. Hope that helps.

As far as the hot juice, mine actually did that a bit when the juice got a little low, as long as I keep it topped off I don't have that issue.

I was just curious what you thought about your Kanger SubTank? I was interested in purchasing the SubTank Mini for my box mod...

Cheers!

For the most part I was very happy, but the fact that your going to lose about 2 ml of juice if you want to change flavors bothers me. I drive a lot at work and a big part of the appeal was the large capacity, and apparently the o rings aren't quite 100 percent, but it sounds like they're working to correct that. I think they rushed this on the market to keep up with the Atlantis, I would guess in another month or so all the little "quirks" will be worked out

I have the subtank mini. love it. I hear the airflow on this one is better than the original because the chimney is wider. The original 1.2 ohm coil didn't last but three days for me (guess my juice was just too much for it) but I stuck in the RBA section with the pre-build .5 ohm coil and it rocks. No leaks, easy to fill. When the wick gunks up, I don't have to empty the tank to re-wick it.
