Hi,
my name is Anja and I am a vaper.
(now all: "Hi Anja" )

I am 53 years old and live in Germany, and I have been vaping since exactly 4 November 2011.
Unpacked my eGo T (the best starter product at that place and time), started vaping, thought "wow, this rocks!" - and switched to vaping immediately, completely and without any problems whatsoever. Lucky me

In the meantime, I my favorite vaporizer is the Vivi Nova.
Some people "make" their own vaporizers / vaporizer heads, but - as a lady and not technically-minded - I much prefer to purchase my vaporizers, and especially pretty and colorful vaporizers, drip tips and batteries.. which go great with my clothing and jewelry when I go out

I have been active in a big German vapers forum (e-rauchen-forum.de) since that time and never thought I'd look across that big ocean - until an American friend on Facebook recommended this forum here.

So, here I am

Please excuse my communication. I do speak English quite well, but all my vaping vocabulary is in German. Time to learn it in English, as I love to give some nice advice to my Facebook friends who say that they want to stop inhaling nasty, smelly, poisonous cigarette smoke. There IS a better way - a much better way

And "Herzlichen Glückwunsch" (= congratulations) fits quite well when somebody has successfully switched to vaping - after inhaling poisonous cigarette smoke for decades (35 years, in my case, and I was quite a heavy smoker)

Why, oh why, did I come here

In the German vapers forum, we all have a "disease" called HWV = Haben-Will-Virus (= want-to-have virus )
As soon as a vaper frequents the forum and opens some nice threads, he /she sees some great vaporizers / batteries / accessories - and then - bingo! - the want-to-have virus kicks in - and the vaper will not rest until he / she owns the coveted vaping item.

Now really, my want-to-have virus works even in this forum here!

I started out with Ego type batteries, but have since moved up to the Innokin SVD using the protank. I am happy with it and am currently HWV free except that I am thinking about ordering some protank 2's.

Hey, sweetie! And welcome to ECF . I had to giggle at the *want to have* virus. I, too, suffer from this ailment - much to my husband's consternation. But as I remind him, "its SO much cheaper than smoking - and healthier too!", so he normally relents *if* we can squeeze the cost of said coveted item into the budget. Although.. my want-to-have virus.... is acting up... that dragon embossed stuff is just too cute

But compared to all the money that I just used to set on fire and blow up in smoke, vaping is so much cheaper! And more healthy, and a LOT more fun!
