Yes, it would be heavy - but reeeeeeeeeally nice too.

I must admit, I love the look of the brass caps on my trans best - but in daily use, I tend to stick with the aluminium ones for the weight reason and for the ease of cleaning. I wonder if anyone else feels the same or if it's just another one of my own peculiarities?

I am sure this will be along at some point. Imeo's inventions sometimes remind me of buses. You can find yourself waiting for a little while for them and then several come in quick succession.

I have both the silver and gold caps like many, but i always use the brass caps, for pure aesthetics and i like the added weight...makes it feel such a solid unit

I might have to face facts that it's just me who is completely indecisive in this area then.

Yes, now we could cope with the extra weight of the brass on a smaller, slimmer AFS, right?

Imeo already said he was working out AFS ideas for the slim - so you know it's only a matter of time.

I want the AFS for my Grant...!!!! Now that would be nice. The beta AFS looks OK but is just a tick big. Could be the same diameter as the Grant and still hold enough juice to get me through the day.
