So far I've used the factory filler, fluval polishing pads and blue foam modifications on my 510 cartridges. I like the blue foam the best, however ALL leak unless I have a cartridge that fits so snug that you have to use a little force to push it all the way on the atomizer, which is only about two out of the twelve carts I own. Anyone have any tips / tricks? Or point out a thread where this has been discussed already

Thanks in advance for any replies!

I mostly drip now but do still plug a cart (or carto) in sometimes if i am going to be using my hands (like driving). I don't really remember too much leakage around the cart to atty seal but rather mostly out of the vents at the atty to batt connection. If you are having an issue with leakage around the cart to atty connection due to the cart being too loose in the atty you may have a couple of issues. One, don't refill the same cart too much as it gets worn by use and compressed by heat over time and can get too loose. Don't hold your finger over the hole in the rear of the cart when pushing it in as sometimes the air pressure will cause fluid on the atty walls to come up the cart while inserting it. A lot of 510 carts by diffenent mfgs are not all the exact diameter either and some just fit too loose. If you want a tighter fitting cart and like or don't mind a flat tip, 901 carts fit the 510 very snugly almost all of the time.
