Is there any chance that sticking anodized metal in your mouth is a bad thing? Not trying to troll as I obviously have lots of respect for David and have purchased from him a few times, just thought the question should be raised.

it actually seals up the pores in the metal...so yeah it's probably a bit more safe than raw aluminum...smooths it out too, cuz think of it this way...if you were to look at the metal under an electron microscope you could see the little pores between the attoms in the surface, the proces fills in each one of those with atoms of the dye.....it's actually a really cool process from a science geek standpoint...unless of course someone's using something particularly nasty in their dyes....which is very rarely the case anymore..heck even my cadmium red and cadmium yellow paints don't actually have cadmium in them anymore...
