vaping for 10 days, everything is fine.

Yesterday I open my LR atomizer and try it out and it was amazing, today it tastes like ... so I say no problem I'll just go back to the standard atomizer I had been using for 9 days without any problems so I put it back in and it tastes exactly the same as the LR atomizer, ....
I open a brand new atomizer, tastes exactly the same. I cleaned the other 2 and tried again but still I just can't get it back to how it was...
The LR atty still produces like a fog machine but I just cant deal with the smell/taste (I haven't been inhaling this trash taste)

Just for the record when I first got my eGo I immediately put it together and started vaping and it didn't taste like this at all, I tasted fruity flavors and smooth menthol (brand new atomizer, no "preping" or anything) I'm using the same juices I was using when I started

I do a combination of direct dripping and using carts, normally (before yesterday) I put as many drops as it takes in the cart and then drop 2 or so drops on the atty, other times I just take a tip without any of the fiber stuff or whatever it is in it and direct drip 3-4 drops every once in a while and it worked fine up till yesterday

I can't really explain the taste but it is unbearable

Any idea what is causing this? dead attys just die right? they don't still produce vapor that just smells like death?

you will be surprised at how your taste changes and sometimes suddenly. If you have been vaping 10 days it is probably just that your taste buds are now coming back.
Food you may have liked may not taste good now and other things you hated you may now like.
It doesnt sound like it is your equipment.
You might try brushing your teeth and tongue or rinsing your mouth out too,
This sometimes helps.
Other then that, there are times when you stop smoking that everything tastes bad.
This can happen off and on for quite a while. It does go away, the only thing to do is , just let it pass.
Tomarrow everything may be great again!

    Somewhere between here and there
I think mini_art has hit the nail on the head. My tastebuds did flip flops for some time. Some days everything tasted good and some days nothing tasted good. It will get better over time. Sometimes vaping a menthol liquid can help clean things and help you get your taste back.

I also think mini_art and hittman are correct. My tastes are doing flip-flops in month since I stopped analogs. I'm finding I don't like e-liquids that I loved last week....and its coming out of the same bottle. As your taste buds re-activate, it really does a number on what you like and what you don't.

I'm also beginning to wonder if this may have something to do with that common complaint that the same brand of e-liquid tasting so different from batch to batch. Possible????

Check its not the mouthpiece - not sure if you wash your mouthpiece but you should at least now n again.
It could also be what the other 2 posters mention. I must admit only 2 days ago my (current) fave 2 juices tasted weird and I had to switch to my 2nd stringers for an entire day (which was fine just annoying) . I vape them the next day and they taste fine again. Thats definitely gotta be ME and not THEM as nothing changed in that time (used same atty etc).
Could it be the juice? Yes it could - you can check by trying a DIFFERENT flavor.
Could it be the atty? yes, again, some dont just die some decompose as well.
Could it be the fiberfill in your cart? Yes - try it without ANY fiberfill and just direct drip.
Could it be YOU? yes it could - try switching to a totally iffernt flavor for a whole 24 hours and see if anything changes.
