lately i had been enjoying provari and mech mod in 18490/18500 modes... need confirmation for safer vaping esp in lower than 1 ohm builds

The aw is correct. Not sure of efest I have never used it. But I trust baditude's blog

As per the following quote made by the manufacturer/distributor his/herself:
IMR18490 Specifications :

You're looking at a MAXIMUM CONTINUOUS draw of 15.5 amps and more for pulsing.
I personally LOVE 18500/18490 mode in mechanical mods simply based on aesthetic and utility reasons and have yet to find a batter with a higher "C" rating than the AW 18490.
Considered safe according to my personal " reasonable margin of safety" to rock a .3 load all day long.
