I am the proud owner of an Atlantis. But I can't use it to it's full potential, I have an SVD 2.0 that can scratch the surface, and a Nemesis clone with a couple Sony vtc 5 (got lucky with a trusted vape shop) that fire it well enough, but I want to take it further. I think I'm aiming for a 50w box mod. I know my budget is going to be $150 with a $50 push if I find something I have to own. I'm thinking either the ipv 2 or sigelei 50w, or maybe even pushing those to the newer model. I'm really not sure here. I have a pair of MVP 2.0 and like them so I'm kinda leaning toward the ipv because they "seem" similar in my mind. Any other suggestions I should look at? Any huge pros or cons to either? Thanks, Cheers!!!

Sigelei and IPV both use same Yihi Chipset, so at the end of the day you wont see much difference.

The reason i went with Sig100 plus, is because of the dual battery set up, thus giving me more time between battery swap. And after almost two weeks with Atlantis, im now looking for a couple of RDA and RBAs to play with. Thus Sig 100 gives me room with Wattage down the road.

You can find Sig100 Plus for under $100. I think the cheapest ive seen if $75.

That's weird on my Sigelei 100w plus and my IPV2S I'm vaping the Atlantis at 40-45watts with 80/20 or 70/30 VG/pg liquid, while chain vaping and I get no dry hits. A nice warm vape and mucho clouds, but it's keeping up in the wicking department.

One of my coils got nasty burn hit at 26watts, while another coil worked fine at 30watts. Not all of them are built equally.

I don't really know about thecloudnerds.com and unregulated box mods. They just "feel" less safe when you start playing with sub ohms and all that potential power. Plus with a VV/VW setup I can safely use any coils I can build or tank I own without much fuss.

That said I really don't know the larger mod market. You brought up chipset, I had no idea they were the same. I keep hearing about the chip in the DNA 40, but since I'm after 50w I haven't done any research in that direction yet.

DNA and Yihi are miles apart.

The best part, Evolv has been making batch after batch of faulty DNA 40 chips for the past 2 month. DNA is an awesome chip, but Evolv fudged up big time.

Miles apart good or bad?
I am really beyond my depth here. But I'm leaning more toward the Sigelei 100w because of a combination track record/time on the market. If that makes any sense.

I'm just trying to do all my research as I jumped on a cyber Monday sale without researching the SVD and while I love the device I'm kinda facepalming on the fact I could have spent a little more and gotten a "bigger" box.

I have the sig 50watt, only downfall with this device is that it'll go from 1.5ohm and like 4.2v to 6.x ohm and 8.x v, instant coil burn if I'm not careful. I believe in the v2 or 1.5 or whatever they came out with fixed that issue. Otherwise it's an ideal box for me. I don't quite know how low you can go on it, .3?

Well I'll be waiting until after Xmas. Put both the IPV 3 and Sigelei 100 plus on my wish list and have one aunt crazy enough that there is hope. Time will tell.

Come January I think my "last" (who am I kidding) mod purchase (for a while hopefully) will most likely be the Sigelei 100w plus.

You guys have been helpful. I'm still a little curious about chipsets, but I think I know enough about what I want to make an order.
