Well after smoking Camels for 20 years I think vaping has finally helped me accomplish something I thought I never could, quitting smoking. I vowed to quit years ago, but even a lengthy hospital stay 10 years ago failed to convince me to stop.
My grandfather died from emphysema in 1998 and my father really resented the fact I smoked. It actually made me avoid seeing my parents. I think things may change.
My wife and I recently made changes in our life insurance policies and I was able to see the hidden costs of smoking. Our insurance on each of us was the same, but because I smoked, my payments are %150 more than hers.
I'm amazed at the ease of which I was able to just stop smoking after picking up a 510.
I'd like to thank the people on this forum for all the info they contribute. I'd especially like to thank MistressNomad for her videos on vaping for cheap. She made it easier for me to make a decision on what to buy and what to expect. I'd recommend to everyone thinking about taking up vaping to watch them as they were a great resource for me.
