Is anyone else finding that you look at anything cylindrical around an inch in diameter in a whole new light after you've made a mod? I noticed that the center cylider of a pop-up sprinkler head looked like the right size.

Lack of conductivity was the only drawback, so I cut off the sides of a copper pipe endcap for the positive end. The negative end is the leftover metal and spring from a 3-AAA battery holder. It contacts a semi-circle of thin metal from a computer case that is glued inside of the pipe with a wire to the atty.

Two washers epoxied together hold the connector for the atty.

I guess it's a fair amount of extra work compared to a flashlight mod, but I love the size and weight of it. Counting the connector from Madvapes, the battery and even if I had to buy a new sprinkler head to cannibalize, it's still a sub $10 ecig. My only complaint is the switch. I'd love to find a nice low profile one.
