Another facepalm

So on the way to work I stop to change tanks/flavors and accidentally unscrew the bottom of my evod tank instead of unscrewing from the battery, dumping out all my juice, now the car smells like pear and I am without a backup. :-(

Is ok, wife is bringing a bottle to me, but just damn, oily spots on khaki pants.

Evod is very popular, but you do have to careful of unscrewing the bottom, as many of us, including me, seem to find out the hard way.

Yup. That happens. I have, while trying to refill an evod, missed the reservoir and shot the fluid down the center pipe right out the other side. Fun was had by all!

That is the risk you take with ANY tank system and not paying close attention to what you are doing. It is much easier to make that mistake with a bottom filling tank as it sits right on top of the battery to begin with, but that same mistake can also be made with a top filling system. I have only made said mistake once, but I have caught myself in the nic (bad pun) of time on several occasions.

My friend discovered the ultimate tool to unscrew a stubborn kanger tank and lets face it it happens alot with those... A piece of cable, preferably a sata cable... Wrap it around the buttom and unscrew with ease ^^

did the same thing with my t3s about 4 months ago but did it right over my keyboard and had to use the wifes keyboard for a day or 2 which sucked cuz hers was bright pink

I always turn my battery upside down and pay attention. But paying attention for me is sorta hit and.

Warm water and Paper towel. Spot will dissolve and be gone in a few minutes. I've made the mistake of laying my dripper on my lap a few times.

That used to happen with my Vivi Nova. I would try unscrewing from the connection holding on to the tank. Oops! Another good one is using stock drip tips, or tapered drip tips on a carto tank, then lifting by the tank. Tank slips off the carto, and juice goes all over the place Now I use Ming drip tips on carto tanks.

Worst one I did with an Evod, I left the base and coil off a tank (I screw it back on the Ego still inverted after filling). The threads will catch and tighten. Something plugs the air tube when you do this untill you really draw on it. Swallowed about 1 and a 1/2 ml of ry4.

Oooh thats so nasty... Once sucked a ce4 dry of 24mg eucalyptus juice... So uncomfortable!!!

I haven't unscrewed one from the battery like that in quite some time....mainly because I don't use them very much anymore. My problem is I forget to unscrew the bottom before filling up the tank. It's another way to get juice on the khakis....so, I wear Levi's. Problem solved.

or reaching into your pocket for your mod, remembering its a pro tank 2 on there until you try to pull it out and realize its a carto tank as you feel ony the tank and a juice soaked hand come out of your pocket. This is the only instance where a pack of smokes is superior. Never spilled juice when the cellophane came off the pack
