Another homemade 901 battery

Yep, here is another one. This one will actually charge itself without the switch being depressed (for a while anyway). All you need is a working battery, a little switch, a diode, a drill, some solder and patience..... Making things is fun...:p

Hook the ground side of the LED to the connector side of the the switch, this way it lights when you plug it into the charger. Place a small small diode (small!) across the terminals of the switch so that it the battery will have a ground path to the charger without holding the switch down. My diode makes the charger think the battery is full when it is not. I have to put a clothespin on the switch to fill it all the way. Oh well.. next time.
