Another how do I get started thread

I know there are probably hundreds in here, and I've been digging around.
Would someone be so kind as to point me to a link/links that show:
a good starting kit
the best/favorite VG and PG
the best/favorite nic base
the best/favorite flavorings

I believe I can find the calculators and I'm hoping I can figure out
base nic strength to purchase and dilute. And of course how to dilute.

I'm after simple one/two flavor mixes and move on from there.

Just as many opinions on vg, pg, nic, & flavors as there are posters. Best advice is spend some time reading this forum, start with a small bottle of nic base that's 48mg or lower, a little pg, vg & a few flavors from one of the vendors and see if diy is for you. I've seen too many that go all in and end up not using or selling all their diy supplies. It takes time and most of all patience.
