I have both and ive been vaping for 3 weeks. I want to buy another backup but not sure which one. I have made the juicybox mod, but trashed one of my atomizers so i have a total of 2 dse901's with a spare batt and the joye510 kit. i like these 2 but debating on which i should pick up as another back up to add to my small collection..... I have also ordered the cree rc8 flashlight, batts and charger.. for a future mod and waiting for it to arrive...

opinions requested....

My two cents worth is the 510 with manual batteries, hands down.

Myself and two neighbors ordered 901 kits and 2 out of 6 batteries worked between 3 kits and those two batteries we got working by bashing the batteries on the tabletop. Replacements seem to be working but at this point I am seriously thinking of just tossing the 901 in the trash. Poor vape, funky battery seems to have eaten a vaporizer, messed up shipping (misaddressed), got to send it back and for what? I'll buy juice from those folks but no more hardware. Based on our experience I can not figure out how they ever got rave reviews :-(.

thanks! i am leaning towards the 510 as the complete set but was considering an 901 bc of the availability of spare parts. ill probably go with a 510because of the reliability. I have gone through a crap batt and a atomizer. my 510 has survived so far. thanks!

chime in anyone else if you have any recommendations.

The 901 isnt a bad e-cig at all. Its one of the better ones out there.

Too bad the 510 outperforms it in every category though.

So get the 510.

I also have an EVO and after i got my 510, i was like 901 what? EVO what? i do not know such things.....theres only 510 and theres 510.

so just get more spare parts for the 510. Thats what im currently trying to do anyways.

All I use is my Janty Dura-C - aka the JOYE510. Manual batteries rock and the atomizers are fantastic. I love, love, LOVE this product.

I've tried the Pilot /Evo / M401 and am not impressed by the throat hit at all. It's a pretty e-cig but not what I was looking for. The 901 was hard for me to get used to as far as throat hit goes. I think manual batteries always give a better throat hit IMO so possibly any model with a USB passthrough+manual switch or manual battery will give me what I am personally looking for.

If you are into vapor and not throat hit (some people don't like it) then the DSE901 is a fantastic contender, great amounts of vapor as well as the DSE 801 penstyle.

I have the same models as Seven and in the ecig deal for the same amount of time.
I like both the 510 and 901. I feel like with the 901 I can taste the flavors better but the 510 hits like a real ciggy.
I went ahead and purchased a another Yeti kit from smoke safe since at the time it came with 4 batteries (2 manuals,2 autos) so I have a total of 8 Yeti batteries. I had a few problems with a atomizer on the 510/yetis but alot of that was resolved with the help of James at smokesafe. I refered a friend to the yeti since its a heavy hitter.

I use both, trade off when I'm computer etc. I burned a 901 atomizer out due to battery sticking when I was out in the boat and the sunlight was crazy bright and couldn't tell it was stuck on. but other than that no problems with the 901 -- as mentioned the 901 seems "cleaner" in terms taste since I believe the yeti atomizer burns like a blow torch but man you can really get vapor and throat hit with that baby.
I'll probably buy parts for both since its nice to have 2 to trade off and as back up for each other.
