Hi all, I'm in Oregon, which you may have guessed, and just ordered an e-cig starter kit that a friend recommended (Halo).

Hoping to have some fun and learn some things here

Take it slow and enjoy the learning. If you decide you want more *gear* my advice would be to wait and research for a bit, don't make quick decisions... Unless cost savings isn't a concern, then just go for it!

Welcome. Be prepared to make a few mistakes along the way. It's a process to find a vape you enjoy. Heed to the advice on this forum. I have been helped tremendously from the users here. Also remember, this will be more of a hobby than traditional analogs. You will geek out. Accept that and enjoy the journey!

I got the Halo G6 starter kit with the bigger size battery, manual. I ordered a few extra cartomizers.

I also ordered some juices from Tasty Vapors:Tastyfinger, PinaColada and Cafe Macchiato. I got the sample sizes, all 12 mg nic, 20% VG

I'm smoking camel lights, about a pack a day, and hoping to quit them when the stuff gets here.

I'm not saying that 12mg won't work for you; but most people start with a higher nic level when switching from cigarettes to PVs. I started with 18mg and was 1.5ppd lights smoker.
