Hi all,
I've been haunting this forum for a few weeks now and registered a few days ago. I really like the idea of a vaping forum and never even thought to look for one. I am a member of several car forums and the information on those is priceless. I'm finding the information and also my impression of the comraderie is the same here as well.

I started with vaping when they first started to come out about five or six years ago. I was not impressed enough to keep it up and continued to smoke analogs for the whole time. Several months ago I got the urge to quit the analogs for good this time. I started out using the disposable Locics and then the rechargeable ones from the same company. they were much better than the ones available all those years ago and cut my 2-3 pack a day habit down to under a pack every two days. So I looked at other options that were far less expensive. I was spending more on ecigs than I ever spent on analogs. Going through a mall one day I ran across a kiosk type operation and bought what I thought would be the answer. Mind you it was a $125 answer. (oh the toys I could have got for that kind of cash). Turns out the unit was a real piece of trash. On a good note it did draw me further into the vaping culture. In the search for good fluids to recharge my new vaporizer I came across the Halo company. As my POS unit looked a lot like their Triton system, I opted for the G6 both for me and my wife. This unit works well and made me happy for awhile. Yesterday I ordered my first mod, an MVP2 energy series with a Nautilus tank to go with it. I hope it gives me the punch I'm looking for when vaping at home and I can just use the G6 when at work or in the car.

Long story short, my wife and I are a month without cigs. I still get the urge real bad now and again. I've invested in some WTA fluids to enhance some of my other flavors. I found that helps out. I also am thinking of getting away from the tobacco flavors as well. They may be too close to the real thing to let it go easily.

So I guess this was a long intro, but now you all know where I'm at. Any input on equipment or good juices that really satisfy.....I'm all ears. I have a terrible tendency to take my hobbies to the extreems, so this could get very interesting the more I learn about mods, rda's and DIY juice.

Welcome to ECF and grand congratulations to you both!

From what I've read, that MVP2 will be a very good step up. If you're going to make this a hobby, you've come to the right place - at the right time. The industry is exploding with innovation these days. Shinyitis runs rampant on ECF can be very contagious. I only have a mild case of it and Ms Twist still says things like, "What, ANOTHER vaporizer?"

Good luck and have lots of fun!

LOL, Robino I know what you mean, my MVP hasn't even showed up at my door yet and I'm looking into other things. Can't wait to see if this new set up is going to be the "punch" I'm looking for. I really don't want to turn into a cloud chaser, but I do want a good thoroughly satisfying vape.

Thanks all for the warm welcomes and the congrats.
