This is my first post, as I just picked up my first e-cig yesterday. I don't see anything wrong with testing the waters on something cheaper at first. I bought a Volt from Smokeless image. The reviews here are what steered me in that direction. I want to give it a chance, see if this is something that will work for me before I consider shelling out for a larger unit. Many users seem to say that even that they have moved to larger devices, they still keep the older ones around and use them occasionally. If I decide to upgrade at some point in the future, then I will. So far, since I got my unit yesterday evening I have only had one analog. Usually I smoke about 3/4 a pack a day.
I bought some sample packs of cartos from them as well and the whole order ran me about $55. I don't have much to compare the flavors to since this is my first taste, but after reading this forum more I found some recommended e-liquid vendors, bought some more blank cartos from Smokeless Image and 4 different samples. Total outlay for all the samples and cartos is about another $50. I ended up with about 50ml of juice, which should be okay for a few weeks/a month.
I say just try it out, see if this is something you want to pursue then go make the investment. Good luck, and enjoy. I don't know if this is the best advice, but this is my approach. If everybody here disagrees, please, be gentle. Like I said, this is my first post.
