I dreaded the thought of buying a 30-40 dollar clearomizer , using it for a few months and then have to buying something else (the pattern i been going through since starting vaping a few months ago). At first i was looking for "mini" , compact clearomizers to make it easier to carry around/put in the pocket. By about 5 pm, i would be running on empty (clearomizer with 1.2 ml). And if i didn't bring or couldn't bring some extra eliquid, i would be screwed or have an urge to smoke a cig until i got home.

The tank capacity of some of these were not the only issues. The coil design (like mini pro tank 3)/performance were underwhelming. Flooding, leaking, gurggling and worse weak vapor/flavor production. Ok vapor indoors but near non existent outdoors

Just visiting the vape store to buy some new eliquid, the counter guy let me try out a demo nautilus mini with bvc (not bdc) coils and i was blown away.

The tank capacity was 2.0ml but compact enough for me to carry, the design looked cool (though it looks a little funky using regular ego style batteries) but the engine , the BVC coil is the reason this thing is the talk of the ecig world right now. He told me since he got these clearomizers the sale of other kinds of clearomizers and even mods have decreased and i can definitely believe that.

Fast fwd to 3 weeks later, and i couldn't be happier with this thing. Absolute beast. Hopefully they can improve on the coil heads lasting longer and the eliquid per vapor production ratio even further. Outside of that , it is near a perfect "mini" clearomizer. It must be stressing the rest of the competition out

I have the Nautilus tank and just put a bvc in it. It increased the vapor production 3 fold against the the bdc that came stock. One other way to get huge vapor is to put more power to it. I had it on an ego twist set to 4.2 volts it improve over a standard evod battery. Now a week later I have it on a Sigelei Zmax that one of the guys at the local vape shop gave me. Talk about flavor and vapor. I'm pushing 14W thru it.:vapor:

Got a Nautilus last week and love it. Got two minis today and loving them also. One reason I'm thrilled with them is every other tank I've used has leaked through the contact connection to some degree or other. I've been using iclear 30's and 30S's for months, and although they've been my favorites, I have to remove the tank and wipe off the connection on both the tank and the APV at least once every day. There's always a drop or two or three that has leaked through.

That hasn't happened with the Nautilus. I did have the big one leak a little juice from the air flow control ring, twice. But I suspect what happened is I inadvertently moved the air flow control ring where it wasn't lined up with a hole. Then when I vaped it, it leaked. The air flow ring on the big Nautilus is too loose, very easy to move . The Minis are much tighter, I don't think you could move them accidentally.

best regards, larry mac

yeah i agree. Especially when you are trying to open it up put in eliquid. The airflow will change position.

Never really cared for airflow function before but i've learned to like it. Some eliquid work better with a tighter draw. When i'm outside i'm changing it around also

What batteries do you guys use with your NMBVC?

I've been vaping a rebuilt version of this coil using Kanger and ARO heads off and on for a long time now. When done right, the vertical configuration is about as good a vape from a flavor standpoint there is IMO. Aspire has taken this to perfection! I am thrilled how well these work!

Only drawback is to perform to their potential, they need more power than eGo style batteries can deliver. 13-15 watts seem to be just right to me, though they do handle more power quite well too. Only mod I have currently that can do this is my Provari, so I ordered a couple of the new eleaf 20watt box mods to give me better portability options.

Also plan on picking up a couple 15watt capable kicks for my mechs to use these with. Really like the looks of Aspires line of eGo styled batteries too. Appear to be of a very high quality. I'd grab a few of those too if I could find out if they're capable of more than the typical 11watts.

These are so good, my Kafuns are going in my apocalypse stash lol.
