Hi peeps, been lurking and reading for nearly a week now and recieved my new ecig yesterday, after a few teething troubles <failed atomozier> I had to buy 2 more and they arrived this morning, i have the mini ecig DSE304?

I have put both the Atomizers on both batterys and have been testing it out but i have some questions.

Firstly why does it leak so much, every drag I take i have to wipe off the hole as i had droplets of liquid, also this leaves a sweet taste in your mouth and i really don't want to be drinking this stuff, this happens on both atomizers

Also you need to take one hell of a puff to get anything worth smoking, is this normal asi am not a high toker like some people who suck half a ... in one draw :)

i have the malboro tasting carts and all they taste of is candy, a very sweet taste. If i take a massive toke i will get quite a bit of vapour but I really don't want to have to suck so hard.

Any ideas?

Ok i have given up with it, its a DSE 084, I looked at the video review and this works nothing like the one Scott does his review on.

One of the batteries does not work properly, the light stops glowing halfway through the drag cycle, to get a decent amount of vapour from either one you have to suck like crazy and that's worse than smoking a normal ciggy, plus you get a loud air sound from the gaps between the mouthpiece and battery.

My sister and Mother both tried the Ecig and both say it's ok but nothing really happens, and we certainly don't get vapour like Scott does in the video, but then he sucks on it for like 5 secs at a time.

I can also not reccomend ecigsonline.co.uk the delivery was fine but nothing is quality controlled and I had to pay for 2 new atomoizers as the one sent was broke, I am tempted to just ship the whole lot back and try a different brand?
Anyone else tried one of those above ecigs and has any views?
sorry for the negative post :(

Typically if you are getting liquid in the mouth, your batteries are not heating/vaporizing the liquid.

yes make sure your batteries are charged up first and then take long slow light drags at first.......even try primer puffs(like a cigar) and see what that does

although I have not tried that specific model

Wow thanks to your post I actually know the model number of one of my newest toys (I got it as a gift and I've been trying to find the model for like 3 days)

I'm not experiencing any of the issues you are, if everything is functioning properly you don't have to suck hard, just longer than you would on a normal cig (wow that sounded bad) I usually do a 3-4 second "drag" and get plenty of vapor. wv2win is right.. it sounds like your batteries aren't working properly.. (or you're sucking too hard and pulling liquid before the atomizer can heat it right) have you tried charging your batteries? Mine seem to die pretty quick if they get jostled around too much, I had a freshly charged one burn out in the 15min drive to work because I had it sitting in the cupholder and the vibrations from the car were making the battery activate, or yesterday I got a laugh because it was sitting on my desk (about 2-3ft away from me) and I had a sneezing fit and it kept lighting up each time i sneezed. These seem more sensitive to activation than my 901 batteries were. Other than that though I like mine, can't really complain about anything other than how easily they die, or the low cartridge life, neither really bother me, but I was given 4 of them so I have more than enough batteries to keep me rolling even if one has premature drainage :p

Thanks for the replies, i have charged the battries fully a few times, the green light comes on after being red and the battery itself flashes 3 times when you plug it in to show it's charging i presume.

I just think it's very poor but then everyone is different, do you get a sucking sound from the air vent place betwrrn the battery and mouth piece?

I have tried small puffs and get no vapour, tried big puffs and get loads of vapour but also some drips.

The only sound I get from mine is a bit of a sizzle (ish) sometimes from the atomizer, nothing like what you're suggesting.. hard to explain.. but my 901's always did that too.. are you sure your battery and atomizer are screwed together all the way? Mine doesn't have a visible gap in it

Doesn't the supplier have a warranty on their products? It's not uncommon to get duds but most suppliers have a few week warranty where they'll swap out the parts for you.

Hi ryle,

imagine having a Mcdonalds straw, then cut lots of holes half way down, now try drinking a thickshake, that's how it feels trying to smoke this thing?

Does that help?? and the sound is exactly the same too

Cheers
It sounds like you have too much juice in the thing and it's partially flooded. Try blowing it out by blowing into the end that connects to the battery then use paper towel to touch the atty metal sponge to suck out the excess juice.
Once cleaned out try again with freshly filled but not overfilled cartridge.
Slow and steady hits usually work best, but some batteries are not very sensitive and take a hard pull to turn on.
A lot of atomizers seem to have a break in period and work much better after a day or two.

If you're using the cartridges they sent, not refilling them yourself, and your batteries are fully charged and your having this problem I'm totally betting it's either an atomizer not heating properly either because of a crap atomizer or bad batteries. Have you tried mix&matching them? You said you have 3 atomizers right? I assume you have at least 2 batteries? swap the batteries between them if you have the problem with all combinations I'd bet on it being bad batteries. I've gotten a bad battery before and a bad atomizer but never multiples of either.

Perhaps not entirely related to your post but worth a mention:

I use an M401, and I used to have a problem with liquid leaking out of the mouthpiece. Now I exclusively dip with an empty mouthpiece (no cart) I find I never ever have any problem with liquid. I don't know how your brand works with relation to dripping or dipping but I would recommend removing the cartridge altogether if possible to eliminate the problem.
