Been looking at the Itaste mvp v2.... I dont quite understand the VV mods with a single battery claiming variable voltage. Fully charged single battery is only about 4.2.
Its not a problem Just trying to wrap my head around that one....I know you can go down in voltage from there but not up without a transformer of some sort.

I missed this post -- just got one myself, if you think you like the MVP don't hesitate they are GREAT !

Well Ive really took the big plunge now but what a difference! I found a new vape shop not far from me. Thanks to those for pointing me to PBusardos videos. I think Ive watched all 900 of them. It was after watching one of his latest on the Itaste VTR that I just had to have one.
picked it up yesterday and have been really enjoying it. This new shop is nice. They carry all the Innokin stuff and then some. They also mix their own juice in about 50 flavors and theyre very good. 12-17 bucks for 30mls depending on which flavors you choose. I figure Ive not smoked around a 1000 cigs since starting the vape. I took the SIL up to the shop and got her started vaping which got me a free bottle of juice and 10% off my next purchase for the referral. Not a bad deal for doing something to help them give up the cigs....

I caught the Live Vape Team broadcast tonite at Vapeteam.com

thanks again for all the tips and advice

Hi everybody! Just getting started with an EVOD kit, 2 ARO's, and a Protank II. Philosophically preferring glass tanks, especially without any glue touching the e-liquid. Already thinking about getting another kit (???), or just cherry-picking some more batts (larger and or VV), and some more glass tanks, perhaps a couple of high- test plastic ones for when out on the town, or anywhere I might drop one on a hard surface. Also, I'm drawn to high-ratio to 100% VG liquids, but I have a lot of experimenting to do before I get there. Also I'm wondering if I should get a different charger for larger (900-1100mh rated) batts? Any input/suggestions appreciated :)

Hi. I bought a V2 starter kit 12mg and some blanks about two weeks ago and am still smoking analog but 1/2 of my usual Marlbor Light 100s habit. I'm a little disappointed that I can't seem to roll over completely but maybe it's because I've smoked for over 35 years. Analogs taste pretty bad at this point but I seem to still go for them... Should I vape a stronger nicotine mg? Should I try a different device? The V2 USA Light flavor is pretty close in flavor to what I normally smoke so I can't figure out why I can't just go with that completely. For convenience I also visited a local vape shop to check out some flavors and let the guy talk me into their RY4 18mg which is way too bitter for me so I'm adding chocolate to that to tone it down, but It's still too harsh. I bought 3 other flavors thinking if I make it fun it'll be easier but I'm not having great success. I'm disappointed in myself after reading about so many people who quit analog cigs within a week of switching. Any suggestions?

Yes, the kiosk vendors in the mall are notorious for misrepresenting how their products compare to an analog (cigarette). Accept it as part of the learning process...at least you got your foot in the door by learning about e-cigarettes.

Most people start out with the cigalikes (cigarette-size batteries) and that may get them off of the smokes. But people soon learn that the entire cigalike exerience is lacking in battery time, juice attachment options, and performance in general. They start advancing up the vaping ladder with bigger and better gear.

Vision Spinner ego battery with Kanger Protank clearomizer

The intermediate step would be an ego battery setup like above. That's a Vision Spinner ego battery with a Kanger Protank clearomizer. This gives 6 - 12 hours use per battery charge and larger e-liquid capacity, and a much more satisfying vaping experience. Some models, like the Spinner or Twist, have variable voltage.

The next step is APVs (advanced personal vaporizers), or mods. These offer even more options with replaceable rechargeable batteries or large-capacity built-in batteries, like the above Innokin iTaste MVP which can go up to 3 days on a charge. This is an affordable mod for entry level or advanced vapors alike. It has variable voltage to adjust the vapor to your preference, and to adjust to each flavor you use.

Above is a tube-form mod that uses replaceable rechargeable batteries, called a Provari from Provape. It is a high end APV which also has variable voltage, a built-in battery and ohm meter, and is known for its ability to precisely sustain the set voltage from the beginning of a new battery until it needs to be replaced.

Reo bottom feeding box mods

Another form factor for mods are the box mods, many of which are bottom feeders. These have both the battery and the juice contained inside the mod; there is a little window in the body where you press the juice bottle to feed the liquid up to the atomizer attachment. This is a self-contained unit preferred by many. The Reo is the most popular name brand. These are usually mechanical mods that have no variable power options.

Mechanical mods are un-regulated, meaning they contain no computer to regulate voltage, they depend solely on the battery's voltage output. They also contain no built-in safety features like a regulated mod has. Some of these are high end, very expensive, and very beautiful due to the quality of materials and workmanship used to create them.

There's a variety of toppers, or juice attachments that can be used on the battery devices - Proper Terminology: Is it a carto, a tank, or what?

Hi all, I won't hijack this thread for my own personal introduction suffice it to say I'm also new here.

Moving on, I've just upgraded to the MVP 2.0 and even for a beginner this thing is a beast! I'd recommend it for any newbie, the only thing I'm not too sure about is the Iclear 30, but then I've only had it a day and it may take some time getting used to it.

Anyway, OP welcome to what I hope is an exciting new journey for us both!

Vaping is great and everyone has to make the switch in their own time. It took me weeks at 1-2 analogs a day. I still grab one now and then and Im quickly reminded just how crappy they really taste.

I found a B&M that mixes all their own juice. They also will custom blend for you for like a 1.50 extra.
They have the flavors set up so you can try like 50 different ones...Im in love with this place.

Its only an extra charge if they add extra flavors...
