Hello fellow vapers. Been a long time lurker, finally decided to sign up to learn more about vaping. I initially quit analog cigs because i wanted to start working out again, and smoking plus lifting sucks. Now ive got a few months of experience on my back with vaping, id love to learn more, and thats why im here.

Currently im using an Ego-T 650
It gets the job done, but its not a satisfying smoke:unsure:, im always having to refill the cartridge every 4 puffs, and even then it does not give me a satisfying smoke. The guy at my local vaping shop recommended a tank instead of what im using now, but id like to hear some advice from people that aren't trying to sell me something:2c:.

Thanks guys, all the advice to make my vaping experience awesome is well appreciated.:D

You need a device that has variable voltage to crank out some vaper. There are a lot of them out there. I got a Provari V2 a couple years ago so have not needed to buy anything else. I am sure someone will coming along with good advice. If you would want to look at a Provari they sell them at Provape.com. Welcome . I was a lurker for 2 years before i made my first post here .
You will like a tank like a ViVi Nova or something similar . The ViVi allows you to replace / rebuild the coil head to get the resistance you like . That isnt the BEST head you can get , but for starters , i think you will be pleased . And you cant beat the price dependent on where you get it too , you can find them for as little as 4 bucks a piece and as much as 15 or so at a B&M . The nice thing too about the ViVi is there are 2 sizes a 1.5 or so and a 2.8 tank . The large one looks a little odd on an eGo but a buddy of mine in Ohio has 4 of the 2.8's and uses them without any problems .
There are many other toppers / heads w/e you want to call them to choose from but you should give that a try . And also it WILL get you into the ability to try out rebuilding your own coils too . Or just buy replacement coils for 2 bucks a pop .

And device wise , my Vamo v2 is a GREAT unit , a little heavy in Stainless , but holds up well . There are hundreds of new Variable Voltage / Wattage devices . Prices can range from 20 bucks for ones like a eGo Spinner / Twist , to well over 150 in a ProVari and even better models .

well money is definitely a problem since im in college, im always broke, so that vamo v2 looks promising to me. As far as the Vivi Nova tank goes, is it compatible with my battery? To my knowledge the tanks have their own heating system that makes the vape right? so I dont have to attach it to an atomizer? im a total nub so go easy on me lol.

Higher voltage will vaporize the juice faster so you'll get a better vape. I never could get along with clearomizers (Vivi nova) because of dry hits and went back to caromizer tanks. An eGo twist/Vision spinner type battery with a low resistance catro in a tank is a really good set up IMO.

Welcome VikingHeretic,

Yes a tank is the better choice. I found the Kanger EVOD BCC, something like this:
Kanger EVOD Clearomizer, Kanger EVOD Bottom Coil Changeable Clearomizer
works great. Should fit your set up without major $, easy to use, clean, rebuild if you want.

for every juice, there is an optimum atomization of the vapor and flavor, which varies by vaper preference. Variable voltage allows you to find and tune in your preference. Twists and Spinners are good starts. Tank wise, the evod is a famously good clearo tank. Step up to the protank or Davide, all very good. They have them in mini sizes or full tanks. Any setup with these devices, so backup coils, a good juice and battery charger and you're ready to rock and roll. Always get two batteries, so you have a backup, with one charging and one vaping. There are many kits that will make this "dream come true" for you, and I'm sure you'll get plenty of recommendations. The two batt, two clearo setup should not cost you more than about $60 for the best and about half that for something a bit less. I like the MVS kit for $69.95, because it doesn't need upgrading later. There are many less expensive choices as well. Shop around, half the fun. Good luck, welcome and congrats. power up and vape on!

you should look into getting a Reo Grand just got mine 3 days ago i love it. Made a micro coil in my RM2 and it is an epic vape. it will be the last mod you ever buy. the reason i bought one is i work construction and i was using a MVP with a Kangertank, broke 3 tanks. so then i went to dripping and building coils, but being up in the rafters and trying to drip is a pain in the ... So i bought a Reo Grand couldn't be happier.
