Another newb question

So my dad decided that he was going to start vaping for the soul fact that he battled lung cancer last year and really really wants to quit. So he went to a local discount tobacco store and bought a kanger EVOD2 he is very set in his ways and wants only tobacco flavored e juices. I vaped a litttle on his because he kepts saying it was way to strong for him so he went down to 12mg nicotine thinking that might be the issue he still says it's way to strong for him. All this coming from a man who has smoked almost 2 packs of Marlboro Reds for probably 20 years. I thought maybe the problem was the wattage on his mod but like i said i vaped it and i personally didn't see a problem with it. i even offered him some FLUFFY CAKE (love that stuff) and he of course refused because he only wants tobacco flavor. Does anyone have any suggestions so i can try and give him a hand?

It kind of depends on what he means by "too strong". Does he feel like the taste of the juice is too strong, or the throat hit is too strong?

What is the PG/VG ratio if at 50/50 then try going to a 40/60 pg/VG or 30/70 pg/vg then ask them to use vg nicotine it may be that the PG is too much on him I have a couple friends that vape tobacco flavors but have to take b the pg level down otherwise it is too harsh.

Can you vape high vg in an Evod?

Try giving him some Nicoticket Virus. Tell him its a tobacco vape, since it is. IMO its what a cigarette should have been

Pg can cause choking feeling. I once had that happen to me. Its not the nicotine (I think, from what i have been through with, all the crap i bought recently) When i went to a high VG and changed to a Kanger subtank mini. My vapes are allot better. Smooth no choking a stuck inhale feeling. The Hangsen 24 mg made me choke when i started. I used a Nautalis mini. but the coils burned out so quickly that i felt like i was buying as many coils as cigarettes. So i watch youtube vape vids and learned allot. Basically 4 videos taught me almost everything there is to know for a beginner on youtube.

Might be he has problems with most of the so called tobacco flavors. Most taste of nutmeg, cloves and butterscotch to me. 2 so far I like as "authentic" to tobacco are Buck Naked American Blend and Clayton Tobacco flavor. Clayton is Chinese and Buck Naked is made in NC. Both of these can be found in tobacco stores in my area. both can also be ordered online. I sampled all the tobacco flavors a couple of vape shops had and could not stand any of them.

Tastes of course do vary, but I thought Boba and RY4 were both pretty horrible.

I do cut down both of the ones I like with 25% 50/50 mix. Makes them smoother and drops the 16mg nic down ot a level I like better as well.
