Hey everybody! Just want to say hi, been a lurker for a month and feel like the long lost cousin but some of you have helped me out so much with your knowledge that I wanted to say thanks!
I had a MAJOR health scare in Aug and I had to break it off with my beloved marlboro lights after 20+ yrs. I found out about this site with all you fine people and V4L on the same day and placed my order for a kr808 kit with prefilled cartos on 10/2. By the time my stuff arrived on 10/7 and spending days on here researching this and that, I was ready.
On Fri nite, Oct 7, I vaped for the first time and I have not had an analog since. Not one. It has been 27 days now and every now and then I will get the urge but it has passed quickly. I still have the remaining half pack of lights in my kitchen but I have not touched them.
I chose the kr808 because, well, simply, I'm girly and liked the pretty colors and ease of using the cartos.
I'm still happy with the kr808 but I am looking at an ego/riva maybe later but no rush. I have 6 battys, a passthrough, several chargers, etc. I'm now getting the blank cartos and filling them myself. I have ordered several times from V4L and had no problems. I was a pad smoker and I started off with 24mg but I found out fast that it was too much for me and I am now using 16-18 mg with the 24mg for bumps when I need them. I really have to drink alot of water, my skin gets very dry without it. My plan is to keep lowering my nic level over time but one unexpected side effect is that I have found out that I do love nicotine and the energy boost from it. I don't know if I have more energy from not smoking analogs or from the nic but I like it none the less.
I could go on and on but I just wanted to say that I am a real person down here in VA in the middle of these darn tobacco fields and I really have quit. I feel like I have won a small lottery! Thanks to all the great folks on here, the videos are so helpful (thanks shan and others!). For all of you out there on the fence, please give this a try. I cannot believe that I have quit, I really loved smoking.
