Just to give your Forum here a plug, here's my story! After smoking for 23 years, I gave up a 3 pack a day habit that also included 1 hour per day with my Pipe and some specially Blended tobaccos I imported from all over the world. For 16 years, I didn't really miss the cigarettes, but, boy, how I loved that Pipe and those Blends.....
Oddly enough, I started smoking again 2 years ago to combat a particular health problem (nicotine is a vasoconstricter and I needed to shrink some blood vessels). Although I was successful with my treatment, I quickly discovered I had done a lot of damage to my lungs in those previous years and have had to give it up again due to obstructive pulmonary disease-and I had never gotten around to re-newing my love affair with that pipe! I kept thinking about it daily and had just about talked myself into re-starting pipe smoking (because I didn't "inhale" the pipe smoke, only "puffed" at it so that would be ok, right?) when I heard a commercial about an electronic cigarette. Hmmmm.....I really wanted more information because I really loved smoking so I went online and found your Forum here.
Talk about a plethora of information! Included in a thread I was reading was information about an electronic pipe so I searched, found one (although there isn't much to choose from out there) and finally received it! I was in Heaven-for about 15 minutes, then the cartridge was empty, and the other two cartridges that came with it were also empty. So, I came back here and read some more, about refilling cartridges and "dripping", and even mixing your own liquids, went through your list of forum suppliers, and found one that delivered an excellent mix of different Blends and it took only a few days to get here (unlike the 22 days it took for some liquid to get here from China that conveniently got here the same day as the American vendor's supplies). The Taste and the Vapor is awesome and I am back in Heaven, puffing on my Pipe up to 2 hours a day, without the tar, nicotine (I got liquid with no nicotine deliberately) or smoke in my lungs!
